of all country in asia, philippines is the most flexible in adapting a culture than other country maybe because of so many countries who tried to colonized it. such as spain for 3oo years, america, and japan. its only the three who colonized philippines longer. and china who lived to make a business. and soon korea.jejeje....

I think you're a bit confused with the Philippines "adapting with other cultures" with modernization which is really what's going on in the Philippines and many other countries around the world.

And yes there's a "Korean wave" going on in Asia with many other Asian countries clamoring for Korean POP culture. Don't confuse "pop culture" with real "culture".

I really can feel Philipinos r kinda different from most asian communities

They r more like american attitude or call it whatever but in a good way.I like it cuz i am kinda against being all koreanish with all that bowing,overacting cute ect

It just looks fake and awkward at times.

Like I've always found it weird how korean artists, at award ceremonies, congratulate each other by bowing or standing up everytime when someone pass by their seats.

It has its negative too. Do you know that hardly anybody performs OPM (original Pinoy music) anymore? Its due to anything American being copied in the entertainment industry there. That's why I'm so proud of Sandara when she sang a Tagalog song in Sketchbook. It's too rare when a Tagalog song is performed abroad.
