Some people don’t believe I God and that’s fine. I don’t, but you can try. I was sad and had problems in my life, I joined a religion. And not because I can’t think for myself or want to be taken care. But it’s more of the sense of belonging somewhere in the world and having a meaning, if ur just going to come onto a video to say its crappy and god doesn’t exist, then just don’t listen to the song and leave.

@boompow15 I'll have to look into it, but I'm almost certain the Bible doesn't give a timeline of the earth even by tracking the generations. (Could be long haven't spent much time on this specific topic) There are many possibilities/ explanations if there is a timeline given, I've heard a few good ones so far. I'll look him up though :)

And the world cant be millions of years old. The moon moves away from the earth at 3.8 cm a year. Since the moon is 238,857 miles from the earth, a million years ago, the moon would have been inside the earth.

Science actually backs up Christianity. No part of the bible has ever been disproved; in fact, when ppl try to disprove it they end up proving a section true. Thousands of ppl have tried to disprove the story of jesus, yet all they manage to do is reinforce the story with historical and archaelogical evidence. Example: the book "case for christ" was an atheist's quest to destroy Christianity, but he ended up converting because there was so much evindence for Jesus' existence and ressurection.

@ToddlerEater Micro evolution is proven, not macro. The bible does not say the earth is 6000 years old and most christians don't think that either. There are flood stories in every religion, there are fish fossils found on mountain sides suggesting there was water as high as the mountain tops, and other things to back up the water level being that high. It may not be the story in the bible depending on your beliefs but a "flood" did happen. I believe in God but respect you if you don't :)

Christians go around preaching "Thou shalt not steal", and then THIS Christian band - only ONE year after Nickelback had a huge hit with 'Photograph' - comes along and totally rips off Nickelback's song structure, arrangement, and even a lot of the chord progression. @boompow15 I'll have to look into it, but I'm almost certain the Bible doesn't give a timeline of the earth even by tracking the generations. (Could be long haven't spent much time on this specific topic) There are many possibilities/ explanations if there is a timeline given, I've heard a few good ones so far. I'll look him up though :)

And the world cant be millions of years old. The moon moves away from the earth at 3.8 cm a year. Since the moon is 238,857 miles from the earth, a million years ago, the moon would have been inside the earth.

Science actually backs up Christianity. No part of the bible has ever been disproved; in fact, when ppl try to disprove it they end up proving a section true. Thousands of ppl have tried to disprove the story of jesus, yet all they manage to do is reinforce the story with historical and archaelogical evidence. Example: the book "case for christ" was an atheist's quest to destroy Christianity, but he ended up converting because there was so much evindence for Jesus' existence and ressurection.

There are flood stories in every religion, there are fish fossils found on mountain sides suggesting there was water as high as the mountain tops, and other things to back up the water level being that high. It may not be the story in the bible depending on your beliefs but a "flood" did happen. I believe in God but respect you if you don't :)

In every other religion, the flood story is scientifically impossible. Was it a lucky guess? And what about the max age of humans being around 120 years old? Another one? There are tons of irregularities with origin science however.

Wow. This song completely mirrors the hypocrisy of the religious. Christians go around preaching "Thou shalt not steal", and then THIS Christian band - only ONE year after Nickelback had a huge hit with 'Photograph' - comes along and totally rips off Nickelback's song structure, arrangement, and even a lot of the chord progression. I am an Atheist. I cannot fathom why God, who is supposed to be good, can let such evil and sadness in the world.
For jumping on Christians, I think some people mistake Christianity with those "extreme" ones (those who picket dead soldiers funerals saying their fate was a result of homosexuality etc.)
I personally respect the Christians who believe what they believe without pushing their ideas on others. I would never expect somebody to change their views for me and I expect the same respect.

(CONTINUED FROM LAST POST)...or read some stuff in the bible. I recommend Matthews which is basically the journey and teachings of Christ. Or if you don't feel like reading that,rent or buy "Passion of the Christ".Christianity is not what everyone makes it out to be....

i find it sad how a long time ago,science was the study of how perfect God made everything,now its all about disproving God. Most people who always jump on Christians thinking they know the religion need to open a Bible and do alittle bit of research. Personally, i agree with sk1ll3tfre34k.Christianity is truly just a relationship with God.Now,im not saying "REPENT!!!" or anything, but people who don't believe in God,i challenge you just visit a church for a few Sundays or Wednesdays.

if u want proof of God's existence, then those of u who dont believe can prove it with ur science. go to church and expirement to see if it is true. expirement what they say that God will give u wat u ask for in the nam of Christ by asking Him to prove it to you experiment by christians to pray for u. experiment by searching and searching for God and you will have ur proof. u say u want proof well u can only find it by trying cuz we cannot describe such proof to u. according to Einstein's theory of relativity, the universe is expanding, which means it came from a point. Now because of the law of causality, anything with a beginning has a cause. Either the universe defied this and something came from nothing, OR it came from something that had no beginning. God is very real and he loves us all :)

I like my hardcore music, I like my "Shot Heard Roun' The World" and my "Battle Lines"...I even like the intense screams in "The Ballad Of St. Augustine". But nothing ever comes close to the deep lyrics of a song like this. Definitely my favourite song by Disciple, one of those songs that just doesn't get old no matter how much you play it. I hope you guys always stay faithful to God no matter how famous you get, keep up the great work!
