I prefered the G1 artwork over the animated. The personalities in the animated were . . .more animated at least. I know its artistic liscence and all but imo if you have a winning combination of characters and personalities, instead of rewriting one, make a new one. Like prowls personalities aren't even close to each other. I liked the clip though, and both shows but G1>animated still. I hope the new Transformers Prime will be able to change that.

@ultron14000 your logic is terrible. i've watched animated and it is watchable but the character designs are terrible the voice acting is worse then in G1. The animated origin for the dinobots doesn't make sense as they are Autobots. being built by megatron would have made them Decepticons yet when they first transform they have Autobot insignias. in transformers animated Optimus prime should really be referred to as Orion paks. The name prime is only given to the leader of all Autobots

at least in animated they got the plot

well...it's not necessarily G1 not having a certain character. it's that TFA made those characters up. and TFA changed a lot of things, like characteristics (such as prowl......why isn't he a police car? and why the attitude?) and certain important characters having no appearance. actually, if some have screen time in TFA, it ruins their image from G1, like Rodimus and Wreck-Gar

The only improvement I see from G1 to animated is the schizo Blitzwing. Plus there was a dinobot goof, you showed G1 Snarl and compared him to animated Slag.
