America has a different climate and culture with hockey then what Canadians have. You are just butt hurt that a Canadian team has not won the cup since 92. Yeah, it must suck winning IIHF U-20 golds and IIHF World Championships on a consistent basis. It also sucks that 90% of the top players in the league are Canadian. Furthermore, Canada's last Stanley Cup winning team was in '93, not '92. But they weren't my team, so I couldn't care less. When it comes to hockey, Canada > the rest of the world. The United States wouldn't even be in the top three, lol. Maybe you could use that tissue?

I'm a die hard wings fan but this guy was one of the best. He was way too cocky though, one of the big reasons a lot of people hated him. In the end it was his downfall, probably one of my favorite moments in the wings/avs rivalry was the statue of liberty play. He made the save then tried to get cocky holding the puck up in the air to show everyone them dropped it straight into the net and we all know what happend after that goal. It all just came tumbling down upon him and I loved every minute

The War of 1812 was fought between the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and its colonies, including Upper Canada (Ontario), Lower Canada (Quebec), Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Bermuda. The Canadian colonies were part of the war, actually. Look a little deeper into it.

I know it's tough to really do much research, seeing as the American school systems don't cover any other country's history but their own. Canada, while not an independant country at that point, still sent soldiers from the colonies into the battle to help. The problem with US history, like it has always been, is it tends to exclude much of the real, full truths of the wars they have been involved in. If it makes the US look bad, change it or reword it, right?
