  • know its old video , like the setup.... good shit... do you think that the blue veg lights are needed or would be worth while getting??

  • @SuperCAKEBOSS123 No worries, I don't think pure blue lights are necessary, the Veg lights do just fine on their own and have more light spectrums. I hear they can be useful for early veg, but i don't think its vital vs. the regular lights

  • @MrKeithStoned thanks insite greatly appreciated... are those actually 90w ufos? bc im actually looking to go with advanced for my leds... as for the 120 watt ufos would you happen to know what the actual power draw is or if the 120s are actually 90s just mislabeled? I know theres alot of mislabels and misadveetising so im just trying to be careful with my investment ... i was thinking of grabbing up a bunch of those 120s if there legit...

  • @SuperCAKEBOSS123 thank you so much for your time and help.. your insight is highly respected by me and greatly apppreciated.. these darn leds are better way to go its just a tricky investment

  • did you get any bugs and pests on your plants with the LED grow?

  • @michealjohnedmondson You get most of your bugs by using soil, and I use soil-less mediums. However, I did get some spider mites when the humidity got too low with high temps during the summer, but the lights weren't a factor.

  • @MrKeithStoned Oh ok, so what do you think is the best way to keep the temp high while working with LED lights, to prevent bugs and spider mites? and are the bugs just around the pot area? Im pretty much concerned with stealth

  • @michealjohnedmondson You don't need to worry about bringing the temp during the light cycle, but you might want a space heater for the dark periods during the wintertime (probably not necessary). You should be fine as long as the temps are above 65. Insect prevention mostly revolves around keeping a clean grow area, and for spider mites, just make sure your humidity is above 40% and temps are not too high.

  • @MrKeithStoned oh ok sounds good. thanks man

  • Looks nice brother, Loving my penetrator,Magnum LED lights.

We're doing a grow off , between the two.

Ran the Apollo lights, not bad for a cheap price point.

    Watching those videos brother

  • how much is cot 240w led light??nice plants!!!

  • have you got the blackstar 240w? if so .. How noisy is it ? Can I hear it work in my room with 1 of those in my closet ??

  • @BlueThor1 I have Advanced LED 90, 180, and 360watt lights, and they are all very quiet. The noisiest thing is the outtake fan, which is quieter than my AC.

  • @BlueThor1 i have a blackstar.its not that noisy, i run it in my closet. i only use it for veg in conjunction with t5.doesnt work well for flowering as evidenced here and is too expensive.

  • what type of LEDs are you using and how many watts?

  • So it took only 8 weeks from seeds to buds?

  • @JohnWoo Hey JohnWoo, this is taken 8 weeks into FLOWERING (after i switched the lights to a 12/12 cycle). Before that, I had the plants in 4 weeks of veg growth (18-24 hours of light per day).

  • @MrKeithStoned Only 4 weeks of veg? Very nice. You think you can get a couple of ounces from each of those plant after it's been cured? I gotta set up something like this home, where I'm at right now , very average buds go for $120 for a quarter of an ounce, it's bullshit.

  • @MrKeithStoned that's rough pricing. Each plant got about 3-4 ounces. Good luck with your setup, let me know if you need any advice.

  • @JohnWoo lmfao!

  • @random1194 Thanks for the feedback. I'm currently in the process of trimming/drying now and everything is looking great so far. The quality is right up there with buds i see in the dispensaries here in Colorado.

  • still in the 3 gallons? Im thinking about the blackdog platinum xl

  • hey how much were all those led's total cost

  • I feel like diving straight into it.

    Nice grow!

  • @spe315effect

I've used HPS lights in the past, they work well, except I have to change the bulb every cycle or two and I'm always worried about the temp.

  • the right UVB LEDs cost $80 a piece. if you are supplementing uvb thats ok. if your light has a 740nm spectrum you wont need uvb. it has the same crystally effect.

  • if you have UV leds in you light and it didnt cost an arm and a leg then they are not UVB. UVC or UVA will destroy terpines and kill the smell of everything it shines on and then some

  • realy nice budz bro. i bought some wimpy 14w led lights from ebay and they worked better than the cfl i had. When i get cash imma get some nice LED's. Did u buy your LED's online or at a store?

  • @mariflak

    Online

  • that is going to be a healthy harvest. was it worth going the extra mile and get the LEDs?

  • @lawlmann Thanks for the post. There certainly are benefits to going with LED's:

-lower heat output (don't need to worry about temp control half as much as with most lights, which is really nice for the summer)

    -lower energy bills

-longer lasting lights (don't need to replace the bulbs, especially compared to HID's, which you should replace after each grow)

    -larger light spectrum

Overall, i've been pleased with the results from LED's.. hope this helps

  • @MrKeithStoned If i had the money i would be, but im stuck with cfls right now :(

  • @MrKeithStoned wadup man so how many lights do you have and how much did it cost you? and what brand ??

  • @lawlmann in the end bro I believe the LEDs are better for your money. Future of growing.
