@skylineXpert Your right, but I'm pretty sure, that I have read, that the Rote Armee Fraktion group had a network between the Palestina groups, they even send people from Rote Armee Fratkion to Palestina for military training. So I think that explains why they are on that list. :)

No one knew what to do, because it was only the Bavarian police (police in german state of "Bayern" (in which Munich lies in)), who were supposed to take care of it.. The West German specialists couldn't be used because of a treaty which said the couldn't operate in East-germany during peacetime.. A tragic event, which could have had a much better outcome.. Alone the problems surrounding the snipers, are rediculous and you'd think they were thought of by a 7 year old child

Thanks...and I totally agree with you. If someone had of got their head out of their butts and said "No we do it this way" maybe (just maybe) things would have been different. I was going to add that things would be different these days, but it wasn't that long ago that the Kursk crew were also victims of bad planning and non acceptance of foriegn help....Maybe the world has learned little?

@HartKent There was a flaw that help this disaster the Germans didnt want to look ike uncivilized people due to ww2, hitler, etc so they didnt allow the police to carry weapons. so they coudlnt defend the olympic people. The snipers did not have walkie talkies and hell even SCOPES on there snipers so ya it fell apart. This war needs to stop.
