Im having shit luck setting this up so I can go afk.

Right now, Im getting 5 kills every 11 seconds (reset to checkpoint):

5 kills Every 11 seconds

3600 seconds = 1 hour

11 seconds goes into 3600 seconds (an hour) 327.27_repeating

5 Kills * 327.272 (resets to checkpoint per hour)

=

1636.36 Kills per 1 hour

Once you get it to where your hitting the checkpoint, you save and quit. This way, when you load it back up and start from that checking shooting the banshees and boosting, you can do it while afk and it WONT set you back PAST your checkpoint.

Save and Quit allows you to re-spawn from the same checkpoint infinitely.

How do you skip the part before the corvette, but after rally point alpha?

@BakFlippa2 By either finding a game save (which you won't, unless a friend has it), or you play past it and save the checkpoint for yourself.

great method, the best ive seen yet for these 2 commendations. a LOT better than the war machine method of winter contingency using the falcon glitch.

Do the banshees under the corvette spawn infinitely? I fight the corvettes escort and if i don't blow up it's engines it seems like more and more enemies are coming out of nowhere and attacking me.

you can make this process easier, set it up like you do, and be sure to aim at the banshees when you get the checkpoint. then save + quit, reload it & rubber band both triggers down. you will fire rockets once, then crash into the corvette & die, resetting the checkpoint so you do it again. set the controller down & go to bed/work/school/etc. get your comms. while youre gone

@cyborggold now yes you could do it this way, but eventually you will restart 2 checkpoints back from dying to much.that is why its best to just click start and restart checkpoint every time instead

@iNighTiDreaM Not so. If you save and quit, then reload the mission, it will not revert you to a previous checkpoint. I did my method while I was away with family today, and in 4 hours both commendations were Onyx.

@cyborggold It does mate. If you save and quit you'll be taken back to the menu, all you have to do is click resume Campaign and you'll be taken back to the previous checkpoint.

@iNighTiDreaM actually so long as you save and quit on the good checkpoint you can start it up again and it will never revert back to the 2nd checkpoint. i have onyx in almost all campaign commedations by getting checkpoints, saving them, setting up a bad controller with rubber bands, and then going to bed.

Awesome find. Do you have to kill yourself to get back to the checkpoint, or is there an option in the pause menu that does it?

@TheWetGoose all you do is press start and revert to checkpoint. thats the reason for the checkpoint

@BurdenGolem you start at rally point alpha theres like waves of banshees in the beginning so just wait till they dock you then you get the corvette part. go under the corvette and when they say shoot engines just shoot a missile at it to get checkpoint aster that just fire away at banshees
