In Europe we are amazed how ignorant some Cambodians are. I understand that Cambodia has received help from the international community for orphans, de-mining operations after Pol Pot destroyed a great part of Cambodian arts and culture and that infact Thailand offered help to re-install Norodom's monarchy. Now what I find disturbing is that Cambodia is poorer than Thailand you would expect Cambodia to want good relations with Thailand instead of this smearing of cultural heritage.

Khmer dances is very technical where each hand gestures is symbolic. For me I don't know much about thai's dance but it seems very fast and feels very modern with the fast pace and not as graceful as khmer's. Honestly, it would seem khmer were the orignator. I'm not trying to bring down thai's dance but just comparing.

Sirindhorn knew there were many Khmer statues in that area so she built a school there pretending to help Cambodia but in fact she dig land and found Khmer statues and Khmer statues to Thailand.
