what is the easiest way to grow mushrooms i mean how come i cant buy some from a buddy then throw the dried mush into a hole and let it grow? if you could tell me a few methods would be good, and do you have to use rye seed and the vermincilite shit or can you use something different

that works just fine... only if you use enough though... you have to use minimum 1 quarter oz of dried mushroom and put it in a hole that's about 6 inches deep.. make sure it's nutritious soil though otherwise it won't grow. the more mushrooms you put in the ground the faster it will grow. it takes about 2 weeks before they start coming out of the ground

Second, you follow djashes advice here and you have about 1 in 10000 of a chance to grow a mushroom, If you take the time to learn about mycology and proper technique you will grow many, many mushrooms of all varieties.
