  • well you say this but inshore are the blow which really you dont want because you want the black which the fisherman want ,just 2 say you pump 365 a year 5 days a week and the many others which pump thats a very lot of black lug,ive noticed myself that there are not so many lug at low tide when years ago there were hundreds of casts but now you just keep walking a round easy money and the change of time happy pumping my friend .ive grown up with the sea ive worked it as well

  • that grouded tanker was in camber wasnt it

  • i still dig lug its hard work but thats the way it is, pumps should not have been made, to easy and easy money years a head there will be less lug..........

  • @planitzog ...There wont be less lug if we all spread the message that they should not be pumped from the nursery beds close into the beach! Lug lay eggs in October (as you will notice if you keep them alive in seawater in a bowl). A very large quantity of eggs are released by each lug. Healthy nursery beds will ensure their survival in large quantities and we'll all be happy...

  • I have udes these lugs infact yesterday, had a good day and i have to say they are the best lugs i have ever used. And they are massive!!

  • interesting video, maybe you could view my recent effort on Dungeness Cheers..

  • As a boy I used to go down on the sand and dig bait the old fashioned way with a spade, how times have changed!. I used to go shrimping as well. We also had laylines which we baited with lugworm which to catch fish, catching a cod or two was a treat!. As a kid growing up at Dungeness I always found something to do to earn a bit of money. I was so lucky to grow up there. The place had its hardships for sure but it was fun. I travel the world now but I still regard Dungeness as home.
