  • As a long time Land Rover owner (going on 35 years) I have to say, this is one of the best Land Rover videos I've seen. Beats the heck out of Land Rovers sales videos ;)

I live in GA so I'll have to keep my eye out for it.

  • I will use this song wen i think in sell my land rover :), i hope, never

  • This song is great. I love that you fit in all the little known Series facts. People don't believe me until I show them that you can open a beer on the dash.

  • Hi and thanks. They cam with a beer can opener and a grill. The heater, I think, was optional.

  • Hi Thanks. I always enjoy hearing from other Rover owners. Is your 110" a diesel?

  • Hi Philip!

    Wonderful video!!

The song, the Land Rover.....loved them!

I wonder if you could do me a little favour, I live in Argentina and I belong to a Land Rover Fan's club here in my country. I've been trying to write down your song for the club's members, but I couldn't get some words. Would you be so kind to complete it so I upload it to the club's website?

I'll leave what I could write down in another message (running out of characters in this one!)

    Best wishes

    Federico

  • Great video, song, and awesome landy! Are you really selling her? What is your asking price?

  • Excellent video, lovely Land Rover too :)

  • Glad you like it. It lives in Georgia, U.S.A. now. A lot of fun with the top off.......

  • Great video and a very nice song! Is it really for sale? Maybe i'm interested. I love these vehicles. Watch my video "Land Rover Cape York". Cheers!

  • Thanks. They are really cool trucks. With the canvas up, they are better than having a convertible. I really enjoyed your video and gave it a five rating.

I have a 1972 Series 3 myself and I love to play with it.

  • Hi, Thanks. Mine had been parked in the garage for a few months and it was great to get it out bump around a bit.

    Enjoy your Ser.111, Philip.

  • Hi Philip,

This is a magnificent add like you don't see them around here, a truly marketing masterpiece!! I wish you lots of luck with the sales and many ear to ear smiles for the lucky one to buy. Best regards from Reykjavik.

    Edwin

  • Hi Edwin, Thanks for writing. The funny thing is that I was just writing songs for my next album and the last thing I was thinking about was actually selling the vehicle. Maybe I've hit on an idea General Motors desperately needs to use. Stay warm, Philip

  • Spot on, Loved it

  • Hi, and thanks for your comment. This cute 88" was bought new by a Welsh farmer in 1961. I imported into the U.S. around 1993. It's still going strong... Thanks again, Philip

  • Nice Landy..but why would a Welsh Farmer buy a Left Hand Drive Landy? I am guessing that you converted it to a Left Hooker?

    Top Song too !

  • Hi, yes it was converted to a "lefty". Also a new Chassis, Synchronized gearbox, overdrive, power brakes, 1983 engine, bronze green paint, hard top, soft top.... well you've heard the rest. Thanks, Philip
