I'd have to say that I can remember William Van Landingham pitching for San Francisco, and Jason Isringhausen pitching for the Mets, but I don't remember seeing them pitch against each other. However, if one was to look up Van Landingham's name on ask.com, it says that when they faced each other, the lengths of their names combined set an MLB record for longest completed names by opposing pitchers, or something of that nature. Why can't these names be simple? Like "Price, " or "Randa" or "Lee."
