  • Australians say stupid like Stshopid

  • Are American accents ugly? Hell NO! I lived in America for 2 years now, and I cannot get enough of it. I watch parts of Fargo over and over again, just to hear Mcdormant say "Oh Ya?"

  • lol "the chongas"!

  • i donno about other americans, but i love all ur accents :D sooooo hot!

  • im Chinese, a little bit.... just say your words a little bit slower, anyways, BIG fan!

  • I love all of your accents. (especially the new jersey one)

  • I know this video is from forever ago, but I'm from "the south" and the "accent" you spoke with for southerners would be considered very southern...like Atlanta even Louisiana Southern/ unless you go to Hickory NC. You can't them apart from deep country folk...However, I do agree. I love the many dialects of the "American" Language, but we never get credited for sounding awesome, and we do!

  • I'm from Alaska and we speak completely stardard. A little boring, but you know.

  • I live in the south and always get comments on how it's hot or even cute.

  • i like southern accents. I'm from new york.

  • >.> your chinese accent is better than mine. I'm chinese and I live in South East Asia.

  • you did the accents extreamly good especially the chola one! lol

  • I'm from the UK and used to date a guy from Seattle. He had a lovely voice, but I wouldn't say it was the accent, it was the tone. Also he used to crack me up when he did a mafia/gangster voice. Now there's an accent I love! Soft Texan accents on well spoken young men can be very lovely too.

  • @RoozleRay cool story bro

  • "and we got the chongas" I.JUST.DIED. XD

  • i can't even. i am dying. rolling.

  • I live in Scotland and everyday I hear the 'I love your accent'! Heard it today even.

  • What about Canadian accents?

  • @emmalicious989 Represent!

  • yes... american accents are ugly -.-

    to me.

  • gosh ur just soooo freakin cute

  • I'm aussie and I think it's just because american accents are so common (or general american anyway) in tv, film and youtube. Plus most watchers are american because there's more of them. Personally I love the boston accent because I rarely hear it. But I don't really like general american because I hear it aaaalllll the time!

  • me being british, i can say that i looove american accents. <3

  • @101ILoveMarina "american accent?" you realize there's like 7 different accents within america...

  • The Midwest one is hilarious!.. so is "and we got da Chongaz".

  • you're handsome!

I like your vids where u had different accents! that was hot and funny!

  • i think only a very small amount (aka 0%) of the people that commented actually got the video...

  • For some reason when he says " Are you still in bed? It's 3 o'clock" Cracks me up everytime.. Idk why tho...Hahah! Thumb me up!!

  • much love for the american accent. especially john mcenroe's.

  • Your chinese was hot, random, but hot :D

  • Dude! Totally caught me off guard when you started speaking chinese... I'm american too :) Love it!

  • I've been told by English guys that my American accent is hot... Psh, little do THEY know, THEY'RE the ones with the accents! Hehehe ;)

  • I'm Australian an I always thought my accent was really weak but then I went to italy an england as an exchange student and people were always asking me to say things and telling me they love my accent. still don't know what their talking about, they had the accent not me :p

  • Your midwest accent reminded me so much of Sarah Palin that it was scary. I hope my southern drawl sounds nothing like the one you did. ^_^

  • My British friend said my american accent sounds weird.. -__-

  • I like american accent infact I dislike birtish and australian accents cause I can't undertsand then properly.

  • i agree with you ..like wtf are american accents not hott? i suppose it is very normal for us we are used to hearing it. bc hello we live in america.. but dam nobody says they like american accents haha. anyway good vlog.

  • "People that live in the southern states"

... I don't know whether to laugh or be insulted. :/

  • american accents unless really hardout don't seem unusual, so you dnt really notice it. maybe because most of the gud tv shows are american, idk but they are normal i spose....

  • you look kind of like kelly from misfits. also you sounded like simon from misfits when your in bed on the phone. :) oh yeah and i love your videos

  • at 0:44-0:47 you sound like simon from misfits. also you kind of look like kelly from misfits.

  • im pretty sure there arent a lot of australians who are really known on youtube (except communitychannel) and so when people watch her videos, they can pick up the accent immediately whereas there are so many american youtube stars such as smosh, shanedawson, shaycarl etc. that is just my view on why people dont comment on american accents a whole lot

  • You are a gorgeous man ! :D .. You are very sexy :)

  • i think people make fun of latinos that try so hard to not have that latino accent but they still do and they make it worst, just like me : / everybody have an accent

  • 2:42

  • Because some American accents tend to emphasise all their syllables it makes them sound a bit slow. They talk very slowly and with a lot of emphasis and it makes me laugh.

I don't mean you are stupid as people, because I'm sure you're not, but that's just what it sounds like. So that's my hypothesis as to why you are not complimented on your accent :3

  • liked your accents.... vid was funny

  • I personally don't think you have an accent. I'm from Texas and I don't think I have that much of an accent, but I know to other people I probably do.

  • love the 2 seconds of monty python music!

  • coming from an aussie - american accents r hot!

  • @fibee1380 you must be from the eastern states

  • how about polish accent ? or russian ?

  • :D I love talking in an American accent!

  • Yes, I think you have an accent... I'm from Atlanta. ;)

  • a lot of times your english accent voice sounds JUST like simon from misfits.

  • I've gotten a comment once that said "You have such a weird accent"..i'm from Michigan,

  • i LOVE jersey accents. mostly because it reminds me of jersey shore..

  • omg your right and i love all the accents <3

  • Im from Ireland: american accents on the tv are more subtle than the ones in real life, when you actually go to america the accents you hear are soo strong!!

  • Im English and i love love love southern accents idk why! lol

  • My mom's from the South and she kind of has an accent (not redneck though!) and a couple of people from Mexico came up to her and said they liked her accent.

  • my penpal from england told me she loved my accent over our first time video chatting :P

  • You know what I'm English and to be honest you don't really have much of an accent to me :L

Not all English people speak posh you know >.>

In fact we just have a general kind of accent. I know people who are full in English in my school who sound similar to you ^____^

  • lol well people tell me all the time they love my southern accent :) but i most deff agree with this video 100% lol

  • 1:43 - 2:10

    L-O-L My favoorite part.

  • WOW. that chinese accent (language) was... sexy. >.<

  • yes , yes it does sound rarther stupid :L :L xx but we will forgive you because we love you xx

  • 2:06 - 2:09, he sounds cute when he speaks in mandarin lol. "I can speak the basics but I can't speak it well" :D:D

  • im from north nj and i dont feel like i have an accent ;\ but when i hear south jersey or shore area jersey people talk i find they sound different. is it because they're trying to sound different? do they actually talk that way? am i just stupid? makes me ponder.

  • Oh! And I'm from the Mid West, well, where ever you are from, it's the same accent because I don't hear any different soundings on you.

  • I liked that lamp shade on your head. :)

  • I live in Maryland, and you don't have have an accent to me. :P

  • AHahaa! Well, i'm australian and i think american accents on guys are hot :)

  • accent means: different from the main language, it is 'an accent' on. SO if you happen to speak the standard language, bad luck, people don't hear an accent, don't comment on it, don't find it sexy or funny or disgusting.

I like the southern usa accent, but all the others do nothing for me. I love all british accents, most australian accents and the Jamaican accent. Canadian , again, no sexy no nothing. That's just what rocks MY boat ;)

  • @veerleke

well you know, technically(if you think about it)

english accents are actually a lack of accent because english was spoke in england before america was even made, hence the name ENGLISH,

so an american accent is an accent and an english/british accent is the comlete lack of an accent an the language in its original form.......

    know what i mean?

  • @smileitsallison then again, accents change over time and i'm pretty sure that cockney is a new thing

  • @smileitsallison Ok i have a very smart and logically correct answer to dismiss your reply, but since i don't feel like trolling up this board anymore i'll let u be the winner today. Congrats and sweet dreams ^^

  • @veerleke

i wasnt tryin to argue with you,

i was just stating a thought.

i didnt know that would be the platform for an argument, but whatever?

  • @smileitsallison No problem man. But "..an english/british accent is the comlete lack of an accent an the language in its original form.." just doesn't sound right. Also in british english there are so many variations, if you listen to someone from Manchester, or London you hear two different..accents! Yes. And both are british english. So thanks for your statement, but i can't agree with it.

  • @veerleke

i see where youre comin from, but its the same in america.

every town has its own accent.

so you cant really generalize it.

  • @smileitsallison Actually, British accents are influenced by all of the European countries surounding them. The closest thing to a lack of accent is Australian because as Australia is so isolated from the rest of the world geographically, the accent hasn't changed since the English colonisation/invasion in 1788.

  • @ibelieveicanfall

oh, so you mean the ENGLISH colonization,

    hmmmm, cool story bro.

    im bored with you, peace.

  • i think american accents sound pretty horrible (terrible actualy) BUT! I respect americans because there just not going to magicaly disapeer any time soon, and because it's not there fault, its the fault of the guy who came to america and screwed things up. also another thing i might add americans talk to slowly.

  • because american accents are heard often on films and english tv so everyone's used to it x

  • ahah you're so good at all the accents

  • is he gay?

  • i love your accent

  • Aw Lav To Accent.

  • your so gay!

  • you make a beatiful woman(:

  • I think maybe because ... most of the people who watch videos on YT ... are American...??? Maybe.

  • surfer duuuuude, I love your accent.

  • Over videos, American accents aren't very nice but that's purely because of how commercialised the accent has become. However, whenever I hear an american accent IN PERSON, it's a wonderful feeling. I feel like I'm in another world.

  • @RCarleyproductions

oh really? dawwwwww, I feel so unique and special now

  • @RCarleyproductions

ive noticed that about like english accents too,

    (im american)

  • @RCarleyproductions AWWW X3 i didn't know people liked our accents XD thats great to hear~!

  • @RCarleyproductions I feel the same about british accents. I watch a lot of movies from England, and I hardly notice it. However, if I come across a tourist from England, it's like O.O. When my cousins came down from there, I was sooo amazed. Lmao.

  • @RCarleyproductions that is so true.. recently an american came into work (im in england) and her accent amazed me.

  • I live in Southern California and I have a mixed accent. On some words it sounds Australian, others Russian, others sound...just weird.. and literally no words I say sound like a valley girl's. I just try not to talk.

  • @TehMeaningOfLife thank you that was bugging me!

  • @TehMeaningOfLife I think he said "wo hui shuo puntonghua keshi wo shuo de bu hao" which means "I can speak chinese but my speaking ability isn't very good"

  • @dayron25 so like...exactly what i said.

  • @TehMeaningOfLife lol yep

  • I really don't think you've got a Jersey accent. Then again... I think Jersey accents are normal, seeing as I come from Philly. But I moved to the Midwest. And everyone thinks my accent is funny, when I dont' see any damn difference in the way I talk.

  • Texan accents = yum! lmao well I find most southern accents hot....idk xD i've got myself a Kiwi/New Zealand accent apparently xD I am from nz born and raised lmao but yeah I don't think I have an accent....idk :P xoxox

  • @joannerh then you would love me hahaha 6th generation texan here, born and raised lol to me i dont have one of course then i go out of state and when i meet people they right away know im from texas, by saying are you from texas? lol

  • English people are just too proud to admit they like American accents. :c

They seem to feel we are inferior. -nods-

Kidding. Actually, my friend is English. We talk on mic a lot and he always says he loves my accent.

  • I love your chinese , but you suck at speaking it ==

  • I have a mix between a minnesota, british, and southern accent. I don't know how that works, but it does. xD lol

  • No one in minnesota has an accent like that less ther 50...

    Sahrry.

  • that was a terribad English accent.

That said I really enjoy your normal voice, its easy to listen to.

  • im a chonga ...oh yesssssssssss cleveland accent

  • I have a teensy bit of a southern drawl...I get complimented on it when I visit northern states, but down here it's a normal thing.

  • Whenever I yell I have a New York Accent Lol :3

  • i love your accent when u speak chinese xD

  • i am from Connecticut and here we say roof like rouph ro rouf instead of ruuf.. haha or as every other american says it

  • When I was in Australia in the summer (those wierd people's winter) I went on the subway every morning to my aunties house and they were these girls on the subways in school uniforms for this big rich people catholic school and they would giggle when i said hi to them. And when I asked what was so funny they said.. "You have a funny accent." yep, freaking aussies said my accent was weird..

no hating on the aussies cause im half and all but thats some funny shit.

  • Southern Accent All the way! XD I'm from NC

  • flowers is for fruits :)

  • everyone makes fun of my jersey accent....

  • i think its because we hear american accents on tv and in movies in a lot of different countries and we're used to it so that just doesnt make it that special... sahrry

btw you can't do an aussie accent. why do americans find it so hard to get?

  • Your accent is not ugly. It is just I hear the accent so often where you would not hear the British accent as much...

  • ur aussie accent sounds british haha, at least you dnt think aussies talk like crocodile dundie, at least no the ones in here in sydney

  • i have an asian valley girl accent... LOL

  • I'm Canadian so we speak a little different too. You know aboot and all that. But I was born in the States, and people always tell me that I say certain stuff weird. I also speak French, and I always wonder what my accent sounds like to them. Cause we have movies and stuff where people will speak English, but with a French accent so I wonder what that sounds like in reverse. Thinking about language boggles my mind.

  • Gosh your so good at accents! I love American accents!! :D your english was kind of the stereotypical old cockney English accent which no one as far as I know has any more lol but it was an awesome try! My accent is really annoying . ;P great video btw

  • Stupid eye

  • I'm from Jersey! People say I have a Jersey accent and talk too fast but I think our state just got really popular with all the Jersey related series out there. (Jersey Shore, Jerseylicious, Real Housewifes of New Jersey, Boardwalk Empire) You catch my drift. So ppl hear Jersey and automatically assume you talk like that. Oh well, I love all kinds of accents. :)

  • YOU'RE FABULOUS AT EXOTIC ACCENTS. <3 And uhhh, America kind of sucks; Jersey is worse, but I'm sure you know this~

  • When you do Frankie i kinda forget who are for a second

  • I love your accent. :) Haha but it's the same as mine.

  • I love your Frankie accent :)

  • im chinse but u were speaking manderine

  • Lol, your Chinese is actually pretty good.

Yeah, you can hear the accent (mainly because you draw out your vowels too much--Chinese is very sharp), but it's really much better than most other people I've heard who aren't native speakers...like, I can actually understand you, heh.

  • LOLOLOLOLOL you're Chinese is not bad.

  • American accents are over exposed globally. Everyone hears them all the time in movies, music, TV, etc... It's not exotic to them like something you don't see or hear very often. Plus having an anti-American stance on well... everything; is a completely expectable and lets face it, a widely encouraged position to hold. We may deserve some of it, but not all of it.

  • your english accent sounds australien XP

  • His pronunciation of chinese words is very accurate!

  • I'm northern Irish and we have the best accent

    American accents sound pretty ugly

  • i'm from boston, every time i leave massachusetts someone tells me they love my accent. i don't even realize i have one.

  • His chinese pronunciation was ON THE SPOT,the tone was a bit weird, but WOW. It was sorta good! He's quite talented at accents : /

  • She prob wouldn't. I speak in a pretty average, boring American accent. I think its just a really ugly sounding accent.

And I don't like speaking in the Aussie, or Britain accent when i go over there, cause I feel like I'm mocking them...

  • Minnesota :)

  • Tch, you should be a voice actor. 8D Fantastic.

  • I love your videos. I've pondered this very thing so many times.
