  • Great song! I love it

  • The Bizarre Love Triangle reference was once misheard by an NME Reviewer at the Bingo Hand Job concert.

For a long time Fretless was known as "Benjamin Caroline Triangle."

Mindless trivia but a fact nonetheless.

The film is actually worth seeing albeit it is fairly downcast and inward facing.

  • thank you for this information. I did not know this information

    heidi : )

  • never seen the film, heard this tune, or known any of the above information, thank you!!

  • you are very welcome aidanoo :)

  • Thanks so much!

  • You are very welcome remnicolas :)

  • Thank you for this information. I did not know REM only perform this song on the Monster tour only once :)

  • More than the other times before, THANK YOU Heidigretel because it's the only time R.E.M. performed this song on the Monster tour on the 14th January 1995 in Perth.

.....and great song too. It's a shame it wasn't included on Out Of Time (1991). Nevertheless, it's one on the greatest soundtracks ever released: "Until The End Of The World" (1991)...

  • @lyonslaforet Peter Buck has said it should have been on OOT.

  • Thanks for this one Heidi.

  • You are always very welcome Teeth :)

  • Did he say 'this is a cover song by....? I thought 'Fretless' was one of their own?

  • Michael says this song is a cover song by Bizarre Love Triangle. I think that Bizarre Love Triangle is a pseudo-name which REM used for some shows when Out Of Time was released, which is about the time this song was written. I think...

  • It was also featured on the soundtrack to the film "Until the End of the World".

Released in 1991, I believe... It was a soundtrack where all of the participants were asked to make a song that they thought would be what they would sound like in 1999.

    good song

  • Thank you Teeth and Issicra. I did not know this information :)

  • You're very welcome... The film wasn't all that great, I didn't think.... but the soundtrack was pretty good.

  • I love this song, thanks.

  • You are very welcome :)

  • neato!
