Probably more constructive to think of Joe being really quite good. I've fenced him a couple of times, he's a bit of a demon. He's probably had 10x more shiai experience than both of us combined! :)
True enough. I was just a little gutted by the apparent lack of any threat or pressure from me. No real seme there. I am working on it but it is a wee bit depressing seeing this. Compared to my 2nd round win in the London Cup last year, this looks dreadful.
Demon or not, looking at the form you displayed that day, I reckon you would have had the beating of him........I bloody told you I should have been chuken! :P
