Man, would have been a tad bit cooler if you could play as ANY of your Miis. I just unlocked the ability to play as my Mii today. When I went to try it out, I found out you could not change it to be someone else. Sucks, I would've loved to play as my Grampa or my girlfriend! There were a lot of characters of Mario Kart Wii. These are the characters you can't be that were in Mario Kart Wii:

Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, Toadette, Dry Bones, Diddy Kong, Bowser Jr., Waluigi, Dry Bowser, and King Boo! This is not a great feature of Mario Kart 7 that you can't be those characters!!!!!!

Wiggler's... ok, and shy guy feels like he's already been in mario kart (probably because HE WAS on ds). I also find it bizzare you have to unlock wario, but that's just a nitpick

These selection of characters are really messed up! wario was a character available from the start since mario kart 64 and they put him as an unlockable? it thought it was outragious that they put queen bee i the game. she SUCKS! i lakitu though and shy guy. metal mario and wiggler are absolutely RETARTED though. rosalina and daisy are one of my favorites.

hmmm...the new characters suck, plain and simple. i mean, i can understand lakitu and such, but honeyqueen? she only appeared once maybe twice in the entire mario series. plus, a copy of mario in metal as a racer...it seems like a waste. no offense to those of you who like these characters. its just my opinion so please dont fuss. :)
