He's perfect player no doubt about that. Not the best DMF player, but among the best. Currently, the Alex Song is better IMO, and Xabi Alonso. And few years ago, Michael Essien in his prime, before his injuries, the best DMF I've ever seen.

The only thing I hate about him is diving. That's why I'd like for Barca to replace him. He makes people say: "Barca is diver team". WRONG. Busquets, Pedro, Sanchez and Alves are divers. Only Alves is essential for Barca. Others can be exchanged.

But if other Defensive midfielders were given enough playing time, and were a lot healthier, Busquets won't be considered #1 Def. I hope people realize he hardly dives anymore. He definitely did exaggerate a lot of fouls before, but out of all the players in Barcelona and Madrid, Busquets is now of the cleanest. His technique is great...but he's too weak, he dives too much ( I roll my eyes every time he falls), and he lacks pace even though he has long legs.
