  • I'm a airlines ramp agent ( Rampy ) and I love marshaling in the A/C it's alot of fun

  • nice video 5/5

  • man that 747 is so huge compeared to the groud crew! that special truck that lifts the marshaller up sure comes in handy :D

  • It's no MD-80!!

  • I heard the announcement bell and i just knew that was in Japan. And then I heard Japanese then I was sure that's in Japan. And then I saw a red semi-circle on the tail and now I was sure that was in Japan and that's a JAL 747... Wow I never knew I could identify these things in a 39 sec video....

  • That pickup truck with the lift on the back, sure is handy :P

  • bet u dats JAL

  • the 747 is the most famous aircraft in the world

  • I want that guys job! I love the 747 - best ever! Thanks for posting. Such a beautiful aircraft! Well done.

  • Are there not lighted guidance markings at the gate? Those are that electic traffic light signals that replace marshals.

  • Nope, most airports I have been to have real live marshallers.

  • You are correct because some airports do have the VDGS or the safegate system.

  • Yer hi, a comment to IFlyEm35, we call people who fly planes, pilots, not drivers and if your a 747 driver/pilot, good for you , you have completed the dream i too someday wish to do ;)

  • Well "drivers" comes from the military, sorry. Good luck with your aspirations. The industry is short handed, you should be able to do whatever you want

  • My uncle is in the military and they don't call pilots drivers they call them pilots!

  • That guy has the best job in the world!

  • kewl

  • The marshaller puts spread out his hands to tell the pilot thats its time to shut down the engines. By the way I like the beautiful landscape in the background.

  • The Marshaller spreads his arms to tell the crew that they are approaching the stopping point. I am a 74 driver and fly globally and I can say without hesitation that the Japanese are the BEST marshallers out there. Also the only time a marshaller will actually tell you to shut down would be an emergancy. What he would do then is cross his arms indicating a stop and then move the wand accross his throat signalling to "kill" the engines.

  • Thank you for clarifying that, I was to lazy ;)

  • No worries! :-)

  • nice..

  • And I just love to hear that Japanese announcer in the background. :)

  • Which airport is this?

  • Naha Int... in Okinawa

  • I see. Ok.

  • That is a Japan Airlines B747. JAL is my favorite airline. Thanks for this nice video. :)

  • nice parking

  • Kewl
