  • is there any way i can construct it without the cigarette lighter plug in and have a power source instead? what size battery would i need if so? please reply this is urgent!

  • @dcfcrams4ever Sry I'm just getting back to you. I didn't realize I had a comment. You could prolly wire it to the battery directly and use a two prong quick disconnect so you can take speaker box on and off. I think you might could splice it into ignition switch so it wouldn't be constantly drawing power or even mount a separate switch and run it through that. I just have the stock battery on mine and it's worked fine.

  • And I'm not being sarcastic btw

  • That is ungodly sick, very nice rig man I'm jealous

  • @rangerbuddy1066 Thanks man. I'm actually not using this audio tube anymore but I loved it. Since I've relocated the radiator, it won't fit. I actually had a box made and I put led's on the speakers.

  • are they water proof???

  • @MrCowfarmer82 yes, they're waterproof.

  • Alright man, thank you so much! If I have any other questions, I know who to ask! Haha, you deffinatly have my favorite audio tubes on YouTube.

  • @gottadosumtinstupid Lol cool man. Thanks. Good luck!

  • Alright, I have one last question.... How do u screw the speakers to the pipe? Is the pipe thick enough, and actually the perfect size to just put the screw through the speakers screw holes, and go into the thickness of the pipe?

  • @gottadosumtinstupid Cut about a 3" section of pipe to make a small ring and glue it flush to the pvc where the speaker is going to mount. Use a hammer to tap it into place before the glue dries. After you have that one in there, you may have to put another section inside that one. (check it with the speaker) If you do, you'll have to cut a small notch out of the second section so it will fit inside the one you just glued.

  • I'll probably try mine out with just one amp. Couse yours seems real loud with the one amp you have.

  • @gottadosumtinstupid Yeah, I don't know about Boss amps but the one amp I had in mine was plenty. I agree with you.....try it with one, mount the speakers and before you silicone everything up, see how it sounds.

  • Alright, thanks alot!

  • Did you run your power direcly to your battery, or through an accesory plug?

  • @gottadosumtinstupid Through the accesory plug.......this audio tube played perfect through the plug but for my new audio tube, the wires weren't heavy enough to take the power so one of my friends at a car audio place put a switch by the plug and ran heavier wires.

  • I'm thinking about the same settup with 2 boss chaos 200 watt amps...

  • @gottadosumtinstupid I bet that would rock. This one only had one amp in it and it was plenty loud!

  • thats my groop my naighbors are in the music video kickin sup mud dang son i love that groop =] good choice haha

  • @2539elaine It's a Phase Linear 120 watt amp (made by Jensen I think). It's a really tight fit tho. I ended up having to use right angle rca adapters just to make it fit. Might be better off looking for an amp just a little smaller.

  • how much did the system cost all together?

  • @TheDbrown4 I believe it ended up being about $280

  • @2539elaine The center section is two Tee fittings put together. I had to cut about 1" 1/2 off each side of the tees and the 90's before I put it together so it wouldn't stick out past the rack, so if you're building one, be sure to measure your rack to figure out if and how much you have to cut off.

  • thanks man audio tube looks nice and a very clean brute!

  • who sings this?

  • The Lacs
