@thehoff1982 Sorry if my lack of video has upset you. As I was only a teenager I didn't have the money in the 80s for a video camera, however I did have a stills camera and a tape recorder. Whether sound or image, it is all worth recording for posterity and finally, it has cost YOU nothing, if you dont like it, you know what you can do don't you!

@tpvalley I didn't have the money in the 80s for a video camera, however I did have a stills camera and a tape recorder. Whether sound or image, it is all worth recording for posterity and finally, it has cost YOU nothing, if you dont like it, you know what you can do don't you! I would sooner have a sound recording of a real 40 from the proper railway era than one of the millions of HD videos on Youtube of preserved traction.
