I'm a Pens fan. Always have been. And Cooke is a dirty player. Yes, he is. I don't like him being on the Pens. But, he, or any Pen, in this modern era of hockey, has never done anything even remotely as thuggish as Gillies displayed here. The Isles showed their colors by calling Gillies and Haley up, just to assault players in retaliation for a legal, normal hit by Talbot. The Isles management made that choice, but its clear that is what Islander fans appreciate. Goonery over hockey.
