  • does anyone know if the latching method is the only tightening method for braidlocs???

  • LOved it

  • I've had the interlocks for about five months and I love them. After watch a few of these videos I think I can do it myself now. I purchased a latch hook from walmart for $1.79 and tried to tighten one loc, but I wasn't aware of the rotation technique and I actually took it aloose. LOL I tried it on one that that is having a hard time locking so my loctician wouldn't know. LOL

  • so is this the same as sisterlocks????

  • i am interested in doing this but i can't see a thing and am confused on how to get started.

  • You start by simply making microbraids. Once there is growth at the base of the braids, you use this technique of tightening with the latch hook until the growth is weaved in with the braid. Try googling "braidlocs" to see and read about others' experiences and advice.

  • I have been growing my locs for six years. I don't know if this will work for me. I'll try to google braidlocs though.

  • braidlocs are very nice if done correctly. i've done a few for people who don't want sisterlocks, but want the smaller loc look. braidlocs & 2 strand twists are my 2nd choices for locking behind sisterlocks.

  • dose braid locs come out nice
