Bruce Springsteen is the most beautiful, respectful musician. He knows the pecking order and he never steps over the line even though he is now Legend Material himself.
This is a great video, but it cracks me up how Neil walks all over Bruce's lines. Neil was NOT to be outdone by Bruce so he simply overpowered him. Clash of the titans. :-)
@BuffaloSpringgal Thats just Neil Young live, I have seen him twice and to this day he's the only guitarist iv ever seen lose it like he does. It's like e's still tripping and there's only him his guitar and the lead he's playing, in the whole world. He does a good cover of this with Pearl Jam also.
Hi ! Mozart & Bach were geniuses ! No one will know about N.Y. & The Boss in 50 y.
Nevertheless a great live performance ! Love Neil in his > Jimi period <... ! Sure this is one of the best live tracks on CD, vinyl, tape or DVD. But it's not the St. Matthew's Passion or the Requiem.
i think they are both very different and you can look at their backup bands, bruce is a crowd pleaser while neil is very idiosyncratic and his fans get off at neil being neil, still in terms of songwriting bruce prefers, and you can acuse me of being simplistic but he's more into narratives and he excels at those while neil can condense stories into 2 verses, sure there are instances of both doing the other, but maybe the biggest difference is their sense of melody, neil is always spot on there
How can you possibly compare Bruce Springsteen to Neil Young? Neil is an all time legend. Just take a look at Bruce´s face of admiration towards Neil. That to me says it all. It´s the same as when Bruce played with John Fogerty, another all time legend. Bruce is good, but he cannot be compared to Neil or John.
WOW! Great video. I've seen Neil live and Bruce live--they are both two of my favorite concerts EVER! I can't imagine seeing them together. And they're doing a Bob Dylan song! How cool is that? If you saw this live, then you are one lucky SOB!
@MariaSpringsteen These are two legends, Young is just the elder! Noone plays the way he plays his apocalyptical solos, with that angel voice... Springsteen is a boss, his solo is a piece of bravour, trying to get back to the primal scream with his guitar, as Young always did, do and will.
who is the asshole that doesnt like this?.....whats wrong ,you get castrated at birth?

Two absolute geniuses, two men who have a brilliant way of interpreting a song. This is marvellous.

I'm partial to Bruce, but both are amazing singer songwriters in the vein of Dylan.

@nyjefferson68 Are you kidding .... Bruce is the man, does it all too and still touring. Best live show on this planet.

I mean Bruce is too weak , comparing to Neil Young. Neil is the only living legend next to Bob Dylan.
