@succubi87 Absolutely! Great question...yes, just use a simple syrup. It would be just awesome!! The peaches are really great right now! thanks for watching.
Just a question, what's the difference between a cobbler and a crumble? Cobblers require a syrup first? A cobbler and crumble mix look about the same...
Well, as far as I know, a cobbler has the biscuit topping and the crumble has the butter/oat/sugar crumbly mixture on top. My mixed berry crumble just mixed the berries with a bit of sugar. Not sure if ALL cobblers have the syrup...this is the only version I have made!
Hi Angie Mace is the outer husk (skin) of the nutmeg nut. My husband loves mace in his peach pie. There is no such thing as a Bulk store here in KS. I wish ! Have to load up on spices when I come back to Ont for my next visit. Great recipe ! Thanks for posting !
It is of course available in grocery stores, usually in the little tins...it's not toooo expensive (maybe like $5 or something)...yeah, it's that little red, lacey stuff covering the nutmeg...
I was going to say 'That's Just Peachy!!' But,after my beans comment,I thought better of it! Really great to see you back infront of the camera again! :o)

@succubi87 Use fresh or frozen peaches. Only train hobos eat canned peaches.
