sorry to say, but you're wrong. there's no E in the post chorus, and after the bend it goes straight to Bb, then Ab, then Gb again. he does that twice.

the bass part is different, too. third time on the Bb, he goes to a C, then plays a G# 3 times, then slides back down to a Bb. if you listen real close in the verse you can hear it.

other than that, it's exactly correct. nice guitar btw. i have a silver dean playmate. what's yours?

He IS playing power chords at the beginning, not barre chords.

He hasn't got a shit load of distortion, because guess what, it distorts the sound, hence making it harder for you to learn it.

People saying the intro/chorus is being played wrong, or "dunt sound ryt", are kinda right. The palm muting between the power chords could be played a little more obvious to ear, but that ain't gonna be too easy without distortion.

Good lesson for people wanting to learn the song.

I'm kinda wonder why he forgot two chords from the riff. There's a G, before the G# and an E at the end before it goes back into the F. Little transition/interim chords. They sorta tie the whole thing together.

the whole point of the main riff is not rhythm, just play it like it sounds to YOU. i also mute right above the neck humbucker to get the scratchy sound between powerchords in the main riff.

all you do is play the chord but instead of pressing it down you just lay your fingers on it and mute the strings. It was tough for me too but i got the hang of it after practicing =) and I'm sure you will get the hang of it too
