@TenthWorldBros i have seen 30 fps solid and the video has been really good for the price. granted if you buy a camcorder that is 300 - 400 bucks more you will defitinally see better quality but for the price it cant be beat.
@beautytreatnl I think as long as it is an Intel based and has iMovie, it will work.
My mom is interested in this camcorder and we own a Mac, and according to the site, the software doesn't work with Macs, but you can use it with iMovie if it is an Intel (which ours is).
@beautytreatnl most of the JVC products have Linux Drivers and usually if there are Linux Drivers you can get it to work on a mac but be ware of the huge video files it creates even on my 12 core system permer pro has a hard time with them
Nicely don't Mr. Car-ter! I subscribed to you as requested, this help me decide to get the 120GB model (its been some months now obviously), the detailed comparison at the end showed, they are virtually identical (even look the same), excluding +40GB, a controller, which might be handy, and the low light stuff I think was the main thing. Rock on Robert - Conza
Hey the built in lights are not that great in any camcorder, dont let that be your only reason to get one from another. I have the Canon HF R100 and love it, it has no internal light
i never use date and time stamps but as far as i know if u have it set to record it it should be inbeded into the video file its self. try using the jvc software if you havent to see if it will stay in the video.
do u know how can u still get the date stamp on the screen even after u transfer that into your mac/pc. Cuz wen i do that the date and time just disappears. I want it like the old tape cameras.
will this work for my imac?
