@Trevordevon You obviously never had to ever call the police after your car or house was broken into! When that happens you will see what a waste of your time it will be. They will come out but will ask you to follow up with a report and tell you to call your insurance company. They will do as little as they have to because they hate busy work! My experience on more than one occasion where someone broke into my car. You are living in a dream world if you think that they are around toprotect

as far as authority cops have none, they are nothing more than underpaid men and women that do a dangerous job. using our tax dollars. that's the business part.

not everybody in this world is violent criminal. citizens appropriately become uncomfortable when armed men and shining lights are to their back.

and it takes temperament to understand this. i say A+ to the citizen for maintaining his own sovereign authority.

Its true that the subject was not obligated to answer every question, but that doesn't mean the officer didn't have the right to ask. He can ask whatever he wants. Get real dude! If my house was being robbed i would rely on my weapons training, and my dog to preserve my life and property. i don't see how calling a cop after the fact would help me. maybe i would call a cop after i downed the intruder.

@user7897 i think that statement in itself is uneducated. police officers are not pigs. They are an asset to our city. I would rather be pulled over for "lane straddling" because an officer thought i was drunk than have them shrug it off as if it were nothing at all. One of my dear friends was killed by a drunk driver and it could have been avoided if a police officer were to have pulled them over. If he would have less evasive with the cop, he wouldnt have gotten a ticket.

@sirswagerton i really like how people in seattle call the police pigs. He did a stop because he thought the guy may have been drinking and he wanted to make sure he wasnt. I wish somebody would have stopped the driver that killed my friend in a DUI accident. Its amazing to me that people have no respect for cops and they think that they are out to get us when in reality, when you are down on 2nd ave at midnight and somebody try's to kill you, the cops are the ones that protect us.
