The red states are getting hotter...shall we say HELL? It's because you have put your faith into the republican leaders that are in bed with the corporations (figuratively and literally), with interests that are not environmental. So the propoganda you believe is that there is no global warming. Well, you are flesh and bones, and you are slowly cooking to death. And you cannot blame the heat on Obama or say, gay marriage, although some republicans will try, I'm sure.
They had to shoot a cougar that wandered into a carwash looking for water in El Paso yesterday...Poor creature...Better off dead....Shoulda waited for Obama to get his car washed while he was there yesterday.......
Now, if this drought was manmade, who would stand to benefit? Suppose the big banks that just got all that money are holding on to it until all these ranches go up for sale or are foreclosed on by local banks that will not be able to keep them. A big chunk of Texas would be owned by Wall Street Billionaires.

I really don't believe in any of the present or past "gods". No matter what the religion, all great powers eventually collapse from within. The sooner we grow up and take responsibility for our lives and actions the better we all will be. I was pleased to see the "man" the prayed his son to death get convicted. Continue to push religion into politics and see the church vanish

The people of Texas should have enough sense to know voting for a republichristian is not good for their country. Instead the good people of Texas raise generation after generation of belligerent, obnoxious, assholes that vote republican just because their daddy and momma don't make sure their children receive a quality education.
