i don't know, the thought of playing with a neck strap kind of scares me, i'd be afraid of jabbing myself in the eye! and then i heard that in parts of europe they have MARCHING BASSOONS!!!!!!!!!

I think I've seen a marching band here in Cali with a few bassons... I don't know if they were field show or parade, I'm guessing parade cause they're not that big

actually, playing with a neck strap isn't that bad.....but i guess that isn't saying much because I've never had a seat strap =P

and don't worry, i've been playing it with a neck strap for three years and i have yet to jab myself in the eye =)
