Okay, I'm seriously considering buying this laptop, but I have some questions. Can this laptop run Source games at decent graphical settings at a good FPS (30+)? I have an HP dv4 with only Intel dual-core processor and a Radeon graphics card but it runs CS:S great. I'm assuming this laptop will too. Can anyone confirm?

Also, will it run Minecraft well? If anyone can respond, I'd appreciate.

very nice design but this asus looks like it would shader if it were to fall and another thing is is that if u were to place this laptop in a humid surface(not that it happens)...well u know....SURPRISE.

im so comfused....they have one at best buy that has a dvd drive...

yet looks exactly the same also in this video...(to me atleast) in a certain angle it looks like the keyboard is lit up....does the keyboard light up or no?

anyone else own this? do you recomend it?

i prefer non apple because of the price and also prefer this since its more unique...

@alextheromanian the model at best buy is the 14" version. That is the main difference between the 13" and the 14" models. The 13" weighs about 1 lb less because it is slightly smaller and does not have the DVD drive.

no dvd drive does not bother me, I keep all my movies on my hard drive and if i want to watch it on my flat screen then I just use my Hdmi cable. If i want to burn cds for the car, i use an external cd drive but i bearly every since these days people just use the AUX IN and plug in their ipods n such..definitly going to buy this in a week.

AND REMEMBER, THIS IS A ULTRA PORTABLE 13 INCH NOTEBOOK, so its focus is on portability! This means that you cant expect it to play crysis or blow the hair off your damn head with its music. This notebook, sir, is the best 13 inch device on the damn market. if not, show me a better one

@theverbalremedy it comes with an i5 430M - wich has a LOWER benchmark score than the i3 370M. you want to know why? this i3 is one of the latest out there. the latest i3 is faster than an older i5 xD

I don't see why you would need a DVD drive, considering that most movies and software is now software anyways... Additionaly, its aimed at the thin and light market. DVD DRIVES are simply bulky! But if it is a necessity you can get an external one for really cheap, $19 for mine. Considering that it packs USB 3.0 and up-to 12 hours of battery life and Optimus technology into sucha thin model it's extremely impressive. Also i bought mine for $969, pretty cheap for the feature it has
