I met Rosella Hightower in 1964 at her school in Cannes. I was traveling with the International Ballet school with Paul Maure and Andrea Karlsen. I am so indebted to them for letting me get a glimpse of the ballet world. Hightower was dancing with Nuyerev at the time. Is it possible to get a copy of the film made of her when she was in her seventies?
She was a very beautiful ballerina. She can be seen on the rare Merry Wives of Windsor in a charming ballet she choreographed and danced. I wish I knew how to upload.
Rosella Hightower was a distant cousin of mine. It would have been a privilege to know her.
