  • חחחחח יש להן עוד הרבה ללמוד לרקוד תימנית אבל נחמד אהבתי :)

  • This tune was the original Arabic melody but they stole them!!

  • @awe414 -Nobody has "stolen" this Song! It' s a jewish-yemenite Song and a tribut to the jewish brothers in Yemen! And it's an originelly Israeli Dance!

  • All are good but the one in the pink pants has become at one with the dance.

The outfits are comical, wish they had donned the original garb.

  • @ofcelticblood - our dance-costumes are made by ourselfs with fantasy as a tribut to the Mizrahi....nobody has called them before "comical"...our audience like it every time very much - Shalom! I am the dancer in the pink costume - Mirjam/Hageulah

  • This is a Jewish Song origin from Yemen

The dance is Yemenith But the song is in Hebrew with an Yemen accent.

  • This Israeli Dance to an Hebrew Song was choreographed by the Israeli Aviv Sefi in 1993; it's one of our mostly favorites!

  • wow...like our turkish dances :)

    RESPECT...

  • sounds like arab music

  • @skabudaw1 well it's not "arab". It sounds "middle eastern". NOT ARAB. It sounds middle eastern because until 1990, 70% of Jews in Israel were Mizrahi Jews until the secular Russians came in. Even now Mizrahi Jews are majority in Israel.

  • very nice ... I really like yemeni music.

    Thanks..

  • beautiful song, but the outfits aren't very authentic. They look like out of a Disney movie....

  • Our Dance-Dresses are made by ourself - with

Fantasy - and our Audience like it very much! We aren't Yemenite women, but German with different ethnic roots and religios membership! Nobody came out from Disneyland like Alice in Wonderland!

  • I loved that song from the first time I heard it

  • Awesome Temani Dance.

  • I'ts Hebrew - a song for the Jewish-Teiman Brothers. Mirjam -Hageulah

  • It's not an Israeli forgery, that's Bullshit, sorry! It's a Yemenite Song/Dance. Jews with roots from Yemen are Mizrahi, and their music sounds like arabic music, because of the area....!

  • Im Sinhalese-speaking Sri Lankan from Auckland NZ. This mizrahit muziq rocks bro! Love it! Instant fan. Im saying this in a very good way, that this sound is close to us Sinhalese classical music as well (if you listen to Hindi raagdhari/Urdu gazal style music where "trills" are used in amazing detail and complexity) very familiar and very homely. Literally, we are mizrahi as well :) Shalom Israel, Salaam Yemen, Kia Ora from NZ!

  • I love this Song "My Brothers from Yemen" very much, and the Dance is so cute! Bravo Mirjam!

    Keep on dancing!

  • Is look like Arabic music Yeah

( Absolutely No deference at all ) ...

  • No, it isn't arabic music; it's music from Teimani and the Singer sings Hebrew.

The Title "Achei Bnei Teiman" means "my Brothers from Yemen". It's a jewish-yemenite Song and Dance. Mirjam

  • Hey . thanks to your nice info about this clip .

  • Long Live Israel Forever!!!Am Israel Khai!!!

  • This is a Hebrew Song as a tribut to the jewish brothers with roots in Yemen. The dance is a modern Choreography from an Israeli Choreographer with a yemenite dance style touch!

  • The song is in Hebrew sung in the Yemeni-Jewish dialect/accent

  • Beautiful Israeli Temani Dance

  • wat saar144 said is wat i have to say to look up the song ya salam ya na dime its my fav song ever

I mean Arabs because Israel homogeneous mixture means do not have a culture of not You understand me wrong, but the fact I am a Muslim and religious, Sidi Mohamed peace be upon him me to love people and deal with people without extremism, but because of the clergy and all religious fanatics there clerics fanatics but our love, I think you know Story Jewish neighbour Allah Muhammad peace be upon him,

  • Shalom - Salam nakoof, sent me an Email and I'll sent you this song as a mp3.file to your Email-Account. The Singer is Zion Golan a Jew with roots from Yemen. I love his voice and his songs very much. This Dance is one of our favorites. Mirjam

  • Hello my friend,Hageulah I am an Arab Jew and Arab art close to that one place is East but liked this song and dance in particular is very beautiful and wished to get this song Can you give me this song I admire the voice of singer

Will you tell me on a Dance These are the name and thank you for this video truly beautiful magnificence

  • i think the song is fantastic and it is very nice dance. good luck

  • There were indeed many visits to Yemen by Yemeni

Jews from Israel and also from USA, but to appease

some opposition groups, President Salah has minimized

the visas temporarily. Israeli Yemenis have a strong

identity as Yemenis also. There's no considering

Yemen as an "enemy". Quite the opposite.

  • hi Mirjam,i would like to say that i am very impressed by your dance group and by your music choices ( zion golan is great !). But it is obvious that this is not your cultural heritage. still bravo for your effort.

Also 10000 years ago only unknown neolithic people lived in the Near East. Hebrews came later descending from the same people than the Arabs, probably people from Mesopotamia .

Kisses. Happy Hannukha and Eid Mubarak

  • Thanks for your comment. Yes, I know the History of the Holy Land very well, because I am a teacher in school and teach children and Teenager in religion. The roots of the Folk of Israel are going back to Father Abraham, the Father of two sons and folks: Ismael and Isaak. So discribed in the Torah - The Holy Bible....Mirjam

  • Zion is a yemeni jew first and an israeli second

  • Really Nonsens ! The Yewish Culture and the Folk of Israel is one of the oldest in the World. It exist in the Holy Land for more than 10.000 Years and their Religion, Tradition an culture is really unique and fantastic ! Even Mohammed have learned from the Jews and the Torah and take many important parts of it in his Koran ! Mirjam

  • Bonita musica, bonita chicas , buen cantante!!Absolute beauty!! When rich humans learn to share the wealth, with humanity, Everybody will be able to dance and sing!!

  • does anyone know who sings this one?

  • The Singer of this beautiful Hebrew-Yemenite Song is Zion Golan.

I am also replied to your mail .I think that because you are group and your dance are very good dance group and I am alone ,that it is more easy that I will come to Berlin

    good luck ^_^

  • wow..do u think its easy for yemeni muslims to visit Israel???!!! is it ok with Israeli to have such visitors?

  • I don't know, if it's easy or not for Yemeni Muslims to visit Israel and if they are welcome...? sorry, but I live in Berlin/Germany. In my Group / Events you are welcome, if you are interested in Dancing and loving Peace. Visitors from all over the World are welcome, it doesn' t matter which Religion, Ethnic Membership they have or from which Country they are coming... Mirjam

  • you would have incredible difficulty visiting Israel. There are no diplomatic relations between Yemen and Israel, and you could get in trouble in Yemen for going to Israel. Conversely, the Israelis would probably be wary of any visitor from an "enemy" country. Would have to get a special visa im sure.

  • I hope you can visit! We have many Yemenite Jews in Israel. If I were in Israel still, I'd invite you myself! :)

  • I am in Israel from the 28 december till

11 of January. If you are there too, I'll enjoy to meet each other. I love especially the Yemeni Jews. One of my best girlfriends here in Berlin is one. The Yemenite Songs are in my mind some of the best. Mirjam

  • The Song "Achei Bnei Teiman" is here sung by the Israeli Singer Zion Golan. The Dance was choreographed by Israel Yakovee and Sevi Aviv. I think, Music, steps and Figures are corresponded together very well !
