Sorry, but my computer has crashed since I made this video and I lost all of my setups. But if I remember correctly, I started with a setup from setupgrid(dot)net and made some minor tweaks.

II think it is a good sim racing game. It has its flaws, just like any other game, but overall I give a 7/10.

I would suggest getting iRacing(dot)com if you have the money. I rate iRacing a 9/10.

iRacing is a really good sim racing game and is great for beginners to get started because of their ladder system. It can get pretty expensive though.

If you like drifting LFS is a great game for that though, not much drifting goes on in iRacing.

Yes, iRacing is a monlth payment, and you also have to buy extra cars and tracks. Both are compatible with the G27.

Right now, I think iRacing is the best simulation out there. Not just because of physics, but everything iRacing does makes it easy on the user. iRacing is also very structured and it helps beginners to race their way to the top cars.

LFS is still a really good sim though.

I bought my G27 when Best Buy had a huge sell on them. They were selling them for $150 at the time. :) They are hard as hell to find now though.

awesome man!!! How big exactly (in inches) is that wheel and do you feel any improvement over the G27 ? It's hard to believe a bigger wheel will be better to drift.

The wheel is 330mm, not sure in inches. I think there is a big improvement of the stock G27 wheel.

Most fender wheel race cars use this size of steering wheel. I think drift cars use 330mm to 350mm.

The way I look at is, a smaller wheel requires quick precise movements(think F1). A larger wheel is more relaxed and almost lazy like. But that is my driving style. I like to be relaxed when I race. I don't like to be up on the wheel all the time.

I built the sim rig from square tubing I got from Lowe's.

The wheel is a G27 with chilicoke adapter.

It is called the Frex Shift+. It is actually a sequential shifter, but since I was using an h-shifter I use the sequential for a hand brake.

Frex also makes a handbrake. It is called Frex Handb+

I mainly like the G27 better than the GT3 RS because you can switch wheels using the chilicoke adapter.

The G27 also feels more smooth and doesn't have as much resistance. I also felt I had more control/precision with the G27.

@Str8representing G27 and G25 are much better then the fanatec wheels when drifting, the fanatec wheels dont spin fast enough, even the logitech wheels spin slow compared to real life but they are much faster then the fanatec wheels, i sold my fanatec wheel because it was just so bad for drifting and thats pretty much all i use my wheel for atm

I've found only one option in google. A pack for 42D DriftWars made by Ales_M containing 80 layouts. Could you tell what this layout is called or it gonna take me sometime before I try all 80. BTW do you change a wheel for every specific racing i.e. drifting, formula, rally? Amazing :)

There is a 2 part video on youtube called - The Drift Bible.

That covers all the ways to drift.

I try not to use the e-brake, but I might in slow turns.

I normally use shift lock, braking, inertia drift techniques.

I need to work on my drifting though. Mainly I just need a good setup. I downloaded this one from setupgrid and then did some tweaking, it's not bad, but it needs some fine tuning.

I only put 3 screws in and I have a battery power screw driver to make switching them faster. :)
