  • Holy Bible Greatest MYTH ever told

  • While this video is obviously not "correct", I get your point: It's complex. But it's not our fault that the universe, and its sotory so far, is complex. We're only trying to understand it by observing it using our best method, which is the scientific method. And what we've got so far is our best guess, using our best tools. Most of it will probably never be proven wrong, but some of it probably will, and some of it already has a few times. It's not easy, but that's how things are.

  • not sure if poe

  • Your video has nothing to do with atheism. It is simply a sarcastic rejection of several varying fields of science that you don't understand.

  • good video, i totally agree

  • While atheism can't prove there is no god, you cannot prove that there is a god.

  • just because YOU don't understand something or science doesn't have all the answers doesn't automatically mean there is a God.

  • @rockdoll87 just because YOU don't understand something or the Bible doesn't have all the answers doesn't automatically mean there is no God

  • @RocknForJesus we agree then that nobody can know if there is a god? great. by the way, do you believe in vampires? or ghosts? or unicorns? nobody can prove they don't exist. does that mean they do exist?

  • @RocknForJesus Soooo, if you can't explain something then the obious reason for it is because som allmighty powerfull being just did it because he decided to do that instead of something else,,, right it has all the sense of the world.

  • hahahha nice one XD!! ,y point exactly :P

  • Strawman - The Movie, starring RocknForJesus.

  • @kainedamo Do you say the same thing whenever Atheists make fun of Christianity in the same way?

  • @RocknForJesus I don't often see atheists make strawman positions of Christian beliefs.

  • @kainedamo ...

Are you serious? How often are you on the internet?

  • @RocknForJesus Tell me the title of a video you object to, I'll watch it.

  • @kainedamo You're asking me one piece of corn out of an entire field. Literally, just do a search of "Christianity" ANYWHERE, and you will find what I'm talking about.

The longer you play dumb and/or act like Atheists are some fool-proof geniuses will only make you look more ignorant.

  • @RocknForJesus Why are you so sensitive? I'm not "playing dumb", I just don't think that when YOU make a claim, that you should put the burden on ME to find what it is that YOU are talking about.

I'm not saying atheists are full proof geniuses. I definitely see poorly thought out comments or insults from atheists from time to time. Sometimes on the Atheist Experience call in show, I think the hosts are a little too rude from time to time. But rarely do I see them make strawman arguments.

  • @kainedamo If you think I'm being sensitive, then you haven't seen anything yet.

If you've ever spent any time on the internet, you know how pitiful the Atheist community really is.

  • @RocknForJesus I find atheists in general to be very pleasant and rational people. From what I observe atheists are some of the most open minded people I know. Of course, they're not all like that. But generally that's what I see.

  • @RocknForJesus Anyways, I hope the comments I left in your evolution video were helpful.

  • 1) an empty black dark void is not nothing

    2) the lowest state is a timeless random soup of particles popping in and out of existence, where anything that can happen, happens, so long as nothing conflicts it. Quantum theory type stuff.

    3) random state happened to create replicable proliferable state, big bang starts

    4) from there, it's not big bang that makes complex objects, but it deposits the building blocks.

This is already a far more plausible and reasonable explanation than goddunnit.

  • Is this another channel with comment approvals and people getting blocked for offering anything that challenges your doctrine?

  • @a1mint I don't think so.

  • WHO GIVES A SHIT, BRO?!? i hate it when dumb jackasses push their opinion on folks. same goes to you dipshit troll athiests that subcribe to this guy for no other reason than to pick and pick like the little mucas licking infantiles that you all are. grow the fuck up, shut the fuck up, and get on with your god damned lives, seriously....

  • @MrGunsrFun I didn't know Atheists subscribed to me.

  • @RocknForJesus I am an atheist and subscribed to you actually. It's pretty funny to watch these.

  • @scrap222666 I'll take that as a compliment. :D

  • Lolwtfbbq

  • No explosions... It's called expanding. The same way a dick expands when you see a hot girl. It just gets bigger, it doesn't blow into pieces.

  • @Derblitzadler Speak for yourself, man.

  • Mostly correct, except that life existed before oxygen.

  • This is why I deadded you Justin.

Although I slightly regret it for some of the laughs I might have missed.

  • 'Why I do NOT NOT believe in a deity.' That's a backward assertion. Theists are the ones making a claim. It probably would make more sense to say 'Why I am a theist' and then give reasons for being a theist. Atheism is a response to a claim. Hence the a-. There couldn't be atheism without theism. So, stop treating atheism like it's a sect of proposed reality, like religion. Also, you're embarrassing yourself with how little you know about evolution and astrophysics man... Read a bit...

  • wow, are you serious with this?! I mean... this has to be satire right? RIGHT?!

  • wow, what a powerfull message

  • @Chuck1863 Coz, It's dumb.

  • evolution has been proven for about 100 years its fact now ,all scientists do now is try and get a better picture for the time line ,im actually offended on how you can just dismiss all reason and logic in a way so dumb and half baked im a proud atheist and i respect religion have you even considered respectfully listening to other peoples opinions i dont feel that you should think you need to defend god if god is your god put all your faith into him dont go on youtube and spread a this poison

  • wtf do banana's have to do with nuts? or evolution of apes? is this real? i found so many flaws in one video i have to asume this is a satire of creationists thinking? someone help im confused is this guy for real? or is he just fucking with us?

  • man i could go on all day about the problems in his video. so you asume it was by choice evolution happened? because we were bored? wtf. if your going to argue about something can you get out into the feild. maybe dig alittle. takes some samples? test something? idk maybe make and argument that wasent created by a creationist that has absolutely no fucking idea apperently what science is or how proving something takes place. really. creationist are not even trying anymore.

  • also what is the picture at 1:00 its halo. but the ship is one i have never seen before.

  • The expanding universe progressing from an infinitely dense point was proposed by Georges Lemaître, a Belgian physicist and a priest. What has this got to do with atheism?

  • Variation on Poe's Law: There is no religious troll so extreme that they can't be mistaken for a sincerely and cripplingly stupid religious person.

  • This is exactly how the universe started! So glad you understand.

  • @LogicalStatements2 You wanna know what's even better? The fossil record isn't even complete, yet Atheism proclaims that everything evolved without 100% evidence of this claim that EVERYTHING evolved. "EVOLUTION DID IT."

  • @RocknForJesus - Ignorance squared. You just proved without a shadow of a doubt that you are operating in complete ignorance. Why don't you try and read a book. A science book. Anything other than the Wholly Babble FFS

  • @RocknForJesus We have more evidence of evolution than a magical man in the sky.

  • @RocknForJesus Um, no. Evolution doesn't explain the origin of the universe or abiogenesis. Evolution explains ever-changing diversity of life since after abiogenesis. That's all. And the fossil record is complete enough to back up the theory of evolution, along with phylogenetics, taxonomy and related biological sciences.

If you're going to say "God did it", then first define "God", prove it's existence, THEN prove that "God actually did it".

  • @RocknForJesus you know how hard it is to become a fossil? how about the incomplete transitional fossils that we do have. most of which gives the lineage of several million years? lke im trying to comprehend your argument but i cant help but to feel you have no idea what evolution is. being you tryed almsot immediately to throw it in with creation of the universe.

  • @RocknForJesus even tho they are 2 diffrent studies and one of which no one truly knows the other being a provable source. what are you trying to say you dont believe in fossils exist?

if your trying to really debait these things and are turly intrested in knowing awnsers... id check AronRa's videos.

  • @RocknForJesus One time I heard atheism proclaim that oatmeal raisin is the best cookie which is odd because I thought that atheism only dealt with theology.

  • @RocknForJesus We have a theory yours is hypothesis, we have proof, you dont, we win. you lose. get over it

  • @exchristian95 We'll find out after we die. The funniest part is that if I'm wrong, I won't even know and you don't even get the last word.

  • Atheists believe ... yadda yadda yadda.

And they BELIEVE this because they haven't EXPERIENCED God.

And they haven't got the GUTS to undergo this universal God-experience ... because in fact they haven't got any real CONFIDENCE in what they believe.

And still we're supposed to LISTEN to them? - What a waste of our time.

EXCELLENT video. - You worked hard on this! : D

  • I'm an atheist and this video is an intentional misrepresentation of my understanding of reality.

  • 6 words: He dropped out of high school.

  • You, sir, clearly didn't pay very good attention in science class. Either that, or you didn't get a very good education. I highly urge you to do some more research before ranting on and on about something you clearly don't know much about.

  • @Chuck1863 You're assuming that God "just happened." You're comparing the existence of life with God, when you should compare the existence of the universe to God instead. One has to have had "always existed." The uncaused cause.

  • @RocknForJesus No one planned for God to have always existed, so he must have always existed by chance. An uncaused cause could not have been planned by anyone so the only way it can exist is by chance. We're ultimately here by chance whether God exists or not.

  • @Chuck1863 Your play on words mean nothing here, sir. A coin flipping to heads or tails, that is chance. I guess if you want to boil it down to the point of stupidified simplicity, you could say "God is here by chance" but what's more likely--an engineer built a car, or a car built itself?

  • @RocknForJesus I believe that an engineer designed a car because they've been seen to do so. Trees are even more complex than cars but are seen to grow by themselves so I'd think no one designed a tree. Some things are designed and some things aren't.

If everything needed a designer then God, if he exists, would need a designer. But it's claimed that God was not designed. Since we agree that not everything was designed, why assume the universe was designed?

  • @RocknForJesus Uncaused cause is just a cobbled together attribute (see special pleading) to explain a ridiculously complex claim (see Ockham's razor).

But that's not what I'm interested in. You call yourself RocknForJesus, what's your logical steps from your wonky uncaused cause deistic argument to primitive Jewish goat herders have already answered all the questions in the universe? Why were the primitive Hebrews correct and all the other primitive peoples wrong?

  • Show me someone that says "in the beginning, there was nothing" - and I will show you a fool.

"Bing Bang" is a derogatory phrase . It doesn't have to "bang" - just expand. Like when you fill a balloon with air - it expands without banging.

A singularity is small than a single atom. Check out black holes - which crush galaxies.

I give up. Ya, all random and stars can "decide" things. Gravity had nothing to do with planet formation. No chaos in space. Loneliness drives evolution. Etc. (sarcasm)

  • Well I can see that you are putting this argument in an ironic way. The serious question is, "why is there something rather then nothing", isn't it?

But do you really think Christianity answers that question?

  • Two can play this game...

"Christianity - The belief that some cosmic Jewish Zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-women was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. Makes perfect sense."

Oh and I should probably mention your entire video was pretty much a long string of strawman arguments :/

  • @MaximumAxiom You're accusing me of strawman arguments? As if what you just copypasta'd is legitimate?

  • @RocknForJesus "You're accusing me of strawman arguments?"

I wouldn't go as far as calling it arguments. =)

  • @RocknForJesus atheists do not inherently believe in the big bang. Many accept it, as for what happened before we simply say we do not know. But we also make the poin that there is no evidence to suggest your or any God was involved. Also, star and planetary formation isn't random. The first ancestors of life didn't exist in rocks, only creationts make that claim. And your representation of evolution is extremely laughable. Yes your video is a string a strawmen arguemnts, asshole

  • @TheAnimeAtheist Because the first sign of intelligence is mispelling half your words, and using childish name-calling.

  • @RocknForJesus doesn't really matter so long as I have an excellent point, that you didn't rebuke. Unless of course you'd like to do that now?

  • @TheAnimeAtheist When you don't act like a five-year-old, and you seem act like you want an answer, not just an endless stream of oppositions, I'll consider it.

  • @RocknForJesus Given your video, it's misrepresentations, connotations, and the way this conversation has played out, it's clear one of us is being, as the young folks say these days, a douche rocket. If you refuse to actually care about your position then this conversation is meaningless to me. I hope for your sake that one day you learn how to give a shit. Good day sir.

  • @RocknForJesus (1)

Most of it is pretty dead on IMO. It is a direct reductionist depiction of Christianity, though some of it is only applicable for certain Christian sects. I would grant it is not at all charitable, but neither was your depiction of atheism; and that was my point all along. We can make fun of each other's beliefs all day, but what good does it do? It really just polarizes us and makes us think that people outside of our own worldview are narrow-minded.

  • @RocknForJesus (2)

For brevity when I say "atheist's don't" I mean that not all atheists agree.

Atheist's don't believe that god cannot be eternal (there is nothing wrong with eternal entities), and believe that universe had no beginning.

Planets formed from nebulas because of gravity, and with enough matter stars formed. Some stars went supernova, and they created more stars, planets, and most of the elements in the universe.

  • @RocknForJesus (3)

We can observe galaxies in formation on the edges of the universe. This is well studied, and I really don't see any room for dispute on planet/star formation.

You do realize the big bang wasn't an "explosion", but an expansion of matter and energy?

None-the-less, objects tend to immediately fall into equilibrium if left alone which maybe an example of chaos turning into order without intelligence forces (depending on definitions of course).

  • @RocknForJesus (4)

You skipped plenty of steps when you touched on Abiogenesis. Our understanding is much better than a bunch of amino acids formed a cell magically. The most primitive cells probably had only RNA instead of DNA, and were sort of a confederacy of independent organelles that were once free floating. I'll grant you that Abiogenesis is in its infancy, and has an difficult task. Yet even recently we were able to reproduce RNA molecules using early earth conditions.

  • @RocknForJesus (5)

I am not even going to comment on Evolution. You know you weren't even trying to make a logical point there. I'll point out that dinosaurs died because they relied on the Earth's climate which dramatically changed with all the dust and ash in the atmosphere. Mammals were able to better adapt especially due to their size, and other characteristics. Also, birds have a direct line to dinosaurs btw.

  • @RocknForJesus (6)

In summary, virtually everything you brought up is backed up by millions upon millions of experiments and scholarly papers providing massive amounts of evidence. Nothing you brought up is even disputed in academia at this point because the evidence is so overwhelming. All that evidence and expert consensus makes me pretty confident in those beliefs verses relevant Christian beliefs that have no real basis in reality or evidence.
