I remember watching all those that you mentioned along with: Gigglesnort Hotel, Vegetable Soup, Hot Fudge, Barbapapa, Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space,Calliope (with my younger brother) and the list goes on.......
@hazelwitchhazel Ha! I've mentioned Gigglesnort & Vegetable Soup in some of my other videos... I practically pulled my hair out for years trying to find out what those shows were. For most of my life when I described the Outerscope segments (from Veg. Soup) to people... they looked at me like I was high. Until I found proof it existed... I almost started to believe it was a product of my imagination. :)
There's this show that drives me even crazier. It was maybe a movie but I remember on the preview I swear it had like those baby blocks and said alligator stew maybe or soup it said alligator something and It showed a 90s style "hip" alligator wearing a yellow shirt with a red hat I believe.
There was a book called "Alligator Pie" by a guy named Dennis Lee. I don't know if there was ever an animated version? "Alligator stew, alligator stew, If I don't get some I don't know what I'll do. Give away my furry hat, give away my shoe, But don't give away my alligator stew."
I've been thinking about this show for atleast 10 years of my life. It was about this caveman who either had a raven or a pterodactyl who sat ontop of his cave...Sadly all I can remember about the show
It MIGHT have been an old Warner Bros. short from the 50s called "Caveman Inki" - it is considered kind of controversial now as the depiction of Inki seems rather racist by today's standards.
Here's a show that I've had a hard time of proving its existence...LOL...it was a show called "Whitney and the Robot". It was a live action educational kid's show that would air early morning Saturday and sometimes Sunday kNBC 4 L.A. Has anyone besides myself seen this show?
That sounds pretty obscure. I thank the internet everyday for proving that a lot of these things weren't figments of my imagination. There was a show called "Gigglesnort Hotel" that originated out of Chicago and was syndicated... for years I described this show to people... and they just stared at me like I was a lunatic. :)
Never seen Popeye and son, but I'll take your word for it. That books looks like something you can flip through hundreds of times and not get bored. Nice old footage mixed in there. I love how dated the rapping makes Little Shop. I remember that PSA. Really good video... I might do something like this and video responses it to this. Good job.
Yeah - my sister hated, HATED, hated that they had the plant rapping - of course she's NEVER really liked rap music.
I remember I wasn't crazy about the character designs, backgrounds on little shop... but after seeing it after all these years... I think it was a pretty clever homage to it's theatre roots... hehehe... "roots". ;)
DO IT! I would definitely like to see a video about YOUR Saturday memories!

You should have spent less time on Hannah and Barberra, they really suck! The worst quality animation...
