I think that as long as you begin to believe in god or a spiritual higher power you are already on your way to a salvation. God wants us to reach him and acknowledge his existence. I think as long as you are aware of him you have developed your spirituality and will have the rewards in the afterlife. But I don't believe in hell. I don't think that because people are ignorant and weak that they should be punished any more than they already have been on this earth.

It's still so sad to me that he died. He had such a will to keep going. Even when he was getting sicker he kept working and doing what he loved, and even when everyone was told things didn't look good he still looked great! As if nothing was wrong. Somehow I always thought he was going to manage to still be alive today

l will always love Patrick Swayze the dancer, actor and the man. He was proud of his Native roots and respected all religions and spirituality. For the last few weeks I have watched the clip of him dancing in Dirty Dancing to Solomon Burke's song, Patrick's sensous and loving dance steps I will never grow tired of seeing him perform. @mrpayne123 when there is a mess the best way to clean it is to use a perfectly clean sponge right? in the same way our mess of sins needed to be cleaned up by God's spotless Son. He takes away our sin when we have real faith in him( believing he is God's Son, that he died to save us and that he was resurrected, that he went to be by God's side after his ordeal and that he tenderly watches over all souls not wanting any to perish in our sins but have eternal life in his kingdom)

@mrpayne123 Simple reason. Because nothing else would be able to satisfy the wrath of God towards sin which deserves eternal punishment. Jesus was not only a perfect man, Jesus is God, and because of that Jesus was able to bear the sins of all those who are forgiven. God cannot overlook sin because God is holy and just. Would you like it if a judge lets go the murderer of one of your family members? We sin against God, God becomes savior by being the believer's substitute in punishment.

@Refutingnonsense he has a right to believe in what he wants to..jesus is not going to get him into heaven..so Patrick is correct..btw jesus never said he was GOD.and mark.luke and paul never ate drinked are talked to jesus.so where did they get there info about what jesus did r said when none of them even knew him

@dimpsey3 Jesus did claim to be God, the Jews in His time knew it well and understood it and tried stoning HIm for making himself to be God and ended up crucifiying Him for it as well. The way Jesus' life was documented in the gospels is the closest you're gonna get to true historical recording of the past because of the times they lived in. Study a bit about it and if you're interested pm me if you are interested in seeing why Christians deny themselves and live for Jesus.

Reading in on these comments a buddha never claimed to become a god he was simply searching for something..read it up its debatable even if its truly a religion when u look at a budbha its not any different then if u went to look at mount rushmore unless u want to call that worshipping a false idol. but I kinda find find myself in his same boat there are so many religions with bouth good and bad aspects to it. take them in practice the ones u find to be right in your heart and if ur wrong

All religions and belief systems will end in the same place, standing before God in His righteous judgement. Will you be innocent or guilty on that day?
