  • just found your video series....they are wonderful! Quite informative, not hurried....love the ones so far. Thanks for sharing!!

  • I really love your tutorials, extremely informative. I have on question on this video, what size is the inside pocket I dont remember seeing a size for it. Then the tag you use--that isnt part of the original tags you had us cut out at 3x51/2. Confused and I just started lol lol !! Thanks so much Hope u can help me--Marilynn

  • @starry7678 Hi there, thanks of your message. It looks like I missed the pocket and photo mats out from the back of the front cover so here are the measurements. Pocket 4.5 x 6, score 1/2 inch at sides and bottom, trim corners and fold under. Edge with 3mm double sided tape and stick to inside front cover. Photo mats are 6.25 x 4.25. I've shaped the top of this by drawing around the inside my roll of double sided tape and rimming around the pencil line. the other is 6.5 x 4.5. Bw :-)

  • I just finished the front cover (embelishments) but am really hesetant about the coat that goes over everything...is that like Mod Podge? And it goes over Everything?

Also the photo mats that have the rounded tops with the tabs, did you use a special die cut for those? Thanks in advance for you help.

  • @49Nutmeg hi thee, thanks for your message. I used Claudine Helmuth multi medium matte coat for the cover. Mod Podge would be fine too. The photo mats with the rounded top I cut an inch longer than the finished size, drew a pencil line across at 1" from the top and then placed my roll of tape across the line half above and half below and an inch in either side. Then drew around the inside of it above the line, cut along the line and rubbed out the pencil marks.

  • Love this....one question tho....what did you say you used to seal the front cover with? and did you put it all over??...even the School Days that you had raised? Didn't quite understand that part.

  • @49Nutmeg Hi there I used Claudine helmuth matte multi medium to the front cover and glossy accents on the school days letters to raise them and give them a shine . Bw c

Just a question concerning art supplies: since I live in germany it's sometimes hard to get all the lovely items and basics (like the black foam tape) - could you recommend an online shop in the uk where you order yourself and which is providing paying via paypal?
