@indic2223 actually, for a guy that uses full metal guns more than anyhthing, one of my friends has one of these. Literally no wobble, the plastic deceivingly looks like metal and feels great. I would definitely recommend this the way it is. and to answer your question, yes you can probably find metal bodies for the blowback models... Kinda hard to find those for ebbs though....

maybe this is just me but my hand grip gets kinda hot after shooting off 5 midcaps within the span of 20 minuets only thing I could think is that I used one of my friends batteries and when using it the gun got really hot when shooting it, the battery was a 9.6 intelect stick type is it possible that it could have been overcharged and I fired my gun? because it still works and shoots but now it just gets really hot all the time please if any one might have an idea reply back!

@miauo123 Its called a pneumatic blowback system, it takes all the compressed air from the piston and other parts of the gun and moves this little metal slide, it requires no energy from the guns battery itself.

when i put a 9.6v 4200mah, which does fit with a tight squeeze, it stripped. when it says recommended battery type do not use the 9.6v. it still has a high rof. shoots far for 330fps outreaches echo 1s shooting 410fps. had to replace gears o biggy but have trouble with motor alignments.  i wil probly go back to a 9.6v battery but not to it is working fine. in the long run buy a 8.4v 4500mah,will fit, & u wont have any problems. again do not use 9.6v in sportline unless u reinforced the gears

I own a Marui mp5j and it was a pain in the ass to get a small 8.4v battery in the standard handgrip it comes with. On top of that, I chronoed it at about 290-305 fps out the box. I would definately trade in my marui mp5j for the G&G MK5.

unless you reinforce the gears do not use 9.6 battery. will break with an 8.4v it does shoot around 900rof and at 330 fps shoots further then some echo1s matrix cyma ect

Dirt can get into the mechanism, but not too badly and can be fixed with some simple cleaning so long as you -stop-shooting-once-you-notice­-it's-fouled-. If you keep shooting, you'll risk the internals mucking themselves up badly. Really, unless you're rubbing the gun in the dirt, it shouldn't get all that much more than any other AEG and if you maintain your gun properly, it should last just as long. With all airsoft, proper care is key and generally trumps function inre: durability.

I'm sure its not recommended but can this gun handle a 11.1v lipo stock?I heard that the gearbox was short stroked stock any truth to that? How are G&G's internals will the gears and piston hold up over a decent period of time while using the lipo ? Can the blowback system keep up with the increased rof ? Sorry I sounds like a tard but I just installed a stock g&g motor in my m4 with the use of the lipo i stripped out 3 teeth on the sector of my xyt gears.. and now I'm scarred of using it lol

H&K finally realized how big airsoft was getting and how often it was using its trademark. They initiated lawsuits against some of the major importers for copyright infringement of their logo and weapons.

To circumvent that many importers are changing the name of the weapons to non-existing designations. Hence an MP-5 becomes the MK-5. Expect to see many other HK weapons with similar names and NO TRADES. Other real steel companies may start to follow in the future as well.

Their not allowed to call if an MP5 because they would be stealing the name.

Same goes with G36 (hence MK36)

A great example why they call it an MK5 and not a MP5, would be CYMA.

Cyma stole the name Glock on their CM030 electric AEP.

So to counter that, Glock sued CYMA and most stores stopped selling the "Glocks".

Infact, thats kind of a reason why most airsoft retailers don't sell Glock type guns anymore.

It's an MP5, the short overall length will get you around corners easier, but the tradeoff of shorter barrel length decreases accuracy. It can be used in an outdoor setting, but the MP5's home is in the plywood maze.
