Hi Teresa, thanks for these wonderful tutorials. I hadn't crochet since I was a little girl. thanks for inspiring me to pick up my crochet needles again. I have also learned many new things from you like this beautiful billion flower,I plan to make my granddaughter a bedspread for her wedding trunk out of these. thank you thank you and happy holidays!
Just finished making mine! Thanks a lot for the tutorial! I tried to do it with the tapestry needle attached to it but I found it much, much easier without it. It took me a lot longer though. But I'm certainly gonna make more of these and maybe sew them onto a crochet purse!
OMG I love the needle(?) on the hook I qam doing a sample stich afghan and with some of the stiches my hook gets stuck in the middle of the stich. I have to try this method. Thanks
I made it without that additional thing on the hook. Although because of the type of yarn that I used you can't really tell the shape ): I should look for a better kind of yarn for this flower because it is great (:
Well, you little scamp! How did you figure out such a great way to make those horribly frustrating bullion stitches?!!!
Thanks for a wonderful tutorial. I especially love how you ran the trickiest parts of the twists and turns in slow motion to make the motions easier to see.
Very original way to make flowers. Would you add these flowers on scarves? I have this thing for scarves. I've made a few, but you can never have too many. I think I will start giving them as gifts, nice idea for a Xmas gift... Hugs, Louisa
I attached a doll needle to my hook with masking tape, and managed some great looking bullion stitches. Thanks so much for the tips! Then I showed mum your video and showed her the hook...and I haven't seen my bullion hook since! She went home and made four of your flowers tonight (mum's been crocheting for years, but never had attempted a bullion before).
Thank you for the post. I just started crocheting bikini tops and now want to add beads and designs in the strap parts to get them to stand out and sell more. This is also great idea inside elegant scarfs.
You have to purchase a tapestry needle and attach it to you crochet hook. You can purchase it from wal-mart or any craft store. You can also purchase them online.
That is just something I came up with to make it work otherwise it is difficult. There are supposed to be bullion stitch crochet hooks for sale but I have never seen one.
I have been watching your videos and trying out most of the patterns and everytime you amaze me. Im new to the crochet world so every vid you have done has helped in a huge way. You are truely a Crochet Goddess! ty and keep posting!

Hello, could you tell me what you use to attach the tapestry needle the crochet needle?
UsagiGirl89 2 years ago
I used plastic tubing that is about the same size as the hook. You can also use pencil grips to hold the needle in place.

You can use them on a scarf. Hats, handbag or granny square.

Thank you. It is difficult just wrapping it around the hook so I worked on a way to make it successful.
