I have two Weber Smokey Mountain Cookers, one in each size, an Excel and a Frontier and in terms of cooking capacity and performance they are pretty evenly matched.

However to be honest the one thing I love about the excel is the ability to stack the cooking sections, it makes reloading the coals, basting the meats and doing a whole manner of tasks so much easier.

The price sounds pretty good too. Over here they are around the £280 mark.

no, just shopping for a smoker now... Do you recommend this one? What is the average cost of one of these?? I see one on ebay for $170 shipped. Is that a good price?
