I have two Weber Smokey Mountain Cookers, one in each size, an Excel and a Frontier and in terms of cooking capacity and performance they are pretty evenly matched.
However to be honest the one thing I love about the excel is the ability to stack the cooking sections, it makes reloading the coals, basting the meats and doing a whole manner of tasks so much easier.
The price sounds pretty good too. Over here they are around the £280 mark.
