  • I want to see this movie! Where did you find it?

  • Not only was from the first "ABC Movie of the Week", it was also Paramount's first TV movie.

  • Creepy Creatures lurk on mt. Paramount.

  • Meet the Closet Killer's kinder, gentler cousin, the Closet Creeper.

  • Do you have the complete version of the 1970 Paramount movie logo with the (complete) Lalo Schifrin music as seen on "Dr. Cook's Garden"?

  • I could just imagine this opening to the David Fincher film "Zodiac" which had a retro Paramount Logo -- all it needs is the "closet killer" music to accompany it.

  • 0:00 Lol! No background!

  • Do you have this movie? I remember seeing it in the middle of the night about 30 years ago and I distinctly remember that scary sounding closet killer music at the beginning of the movie.

  • They should bring this logo back just to annoy people.

  • @MattTheSaiyan Yeah I agree.

  • this was on a Spoof of the Closet Killer logo by ShaDeed329

  • @1soniccool WHICH jingle was extracted from the audio file I posted on the CLG.

  • @LogicSmash 6 seconds is not long on tv?

  • This IS a rare find!

  • The original, full-length Closet Killer is a great find, but it just doesn't have the same shock factor as the 1 we know.

  • @ClassicTVMan81 Not necessarily.

  • This should've been the TV logo. Imagine this after The Brady Bunch. {{-_-}}

  • @Suitsnappy Well, this was indeed "too long" for television

  • @LogicSmash That wasn't long whatsoever.

  • @LogicSmash

It could have worked there, given that the Sony Pictures Television logo has both short and long jingles.

  • @Suitsnappy OMG!!! No more "Closet Killer" jingles after the Brady Bunch. There's only one out there. There shouldn't be anymore. I remember watching an episode of it and the "Closet Killer" jingle came on afterwards when I was 9. It was a good episode too. The jingle scarred me for life. lol.

  • That is SOOOO rare!!! Thanks, LogicSmash!!! :-)

  • @cybertronization You're welcome.

  • Nice find!! :D And almost to 1,000 videos!! ;)

  • @Beagle7788 Thanks

  • wow!

  • wow now that's a rare find! awesome upload!

  • @coleyd Thanks.

  • Ohhhhh! I got to thinking of the 1969 Paramount Television logo! Whoops!

  • @ShaDeed329 Maybe this was the source from which the music for the 1969 Paramount TV logo itself came?

  • Read the description.

  • "Seven in Darkness" was the very first ABC "Movie of the Week". It was a TV movie about a plane full of blind people which crashes in the wilderness.

  • @kc86er Interestingly, I found out that the pilot movie for "Love, American Style" was originally supposed to be the first ABC Movie of the Week but it premiered as a regular series a week later.

  • @kc86er

"Terror in the Sky" was another, which had aired in 1971. At the beginning, the 1968 logo is accompanied by a long version of the 1970 "Color ID" jingle.

Recent prints replace the 1968 opening logo with the 1989 version (w/ white Paramount Communications byline as used from 1991-94), w/o any music, while the 1969 TV logo at the end went AWOL in favor of the '91 TV logo, with the '70 jingle intact.

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X I wish I knew how the long version of the Lalo Schifrin "Color ID" jingle sounded; would you say it was tamer or scarier than the TV version?

  • @kc86er

Again I haven't discovered it yet. The long version was also orchestrated by Jack Hayes.

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X How do you know about that?

  • @kc86er

The jingle is officially called "Paramount Music Logo #6" or "LS Logo."
