Yeah, Twisted Metal is exactly like James Bond. I totally remember James Bond driving a bright pink pimp car with machine guns trying to kill a crack head, a woman in a race car, a black guy on a semi truck axel, a pedophile in a bulldozer, some dude in a purple limo, two stoners in a monster truck, a police woman, a war veteran, and an asian.

One of my favorite games growing up. We didn't need awesome graphics or sound effects back then; just a challenging and creative game to play with your buddies! I feel like all the popular games nowadays are more focused on cinematics and less user interface.

It's funny that this game only got a "Teen" rating. The themes are all adult and the gore, although unrealistic, is disturbing. Didn't we have a rash of school shootings in 1997? Might not have caused them, but certainly didn't aid it. I wouldn't doubt that this was near the top of Dylan's and Eric's favorite video games. Hmm...

Yes! I miss games back then. They were simpler in that they didn't constantly give you instructions what to do, which weapon to use, which narrow path you had to follow, etc. You could just be creative and have fun in a wide open world. Here are the buttons you push to do X or Y, here are the auxilliary weapon codes, okay--now go and have fun!

Once we were playing on the rooftops and I hit him over the edge with my powerful skull, but at the last minute, as he was falling, he shot one of spectre's missiles which can go through walls and it killed me before he hit the ground. lol.
