i dont know about the one in Chicago, but the Pizzeria Uno in Kissimmee, FL was absolutely awesome. the only kind of "Chicago style" pizza i have ever enjoyed.

I think I went to this place on a trip to Chicago years ago. If it's the same place, they say they invented Chicago style pizza. Anyway, we stood in line for an hour and a half, ordered two pizzas, and all the time avoiding and killing cockroaches.

I'm not kidding, roaches everywhere. One of the pizzas was fine, the pepperoni one was terrible: two thick slices that tasted like medicine. Do not go to this place.

Holy Shit! I just had my first Chicago pizza. It was a Deep Dish Pan pizza. First, I thought it was the Stuffed, but I was wrong. I will have to get stuffed next time. It was so damn good. It is in Texas. Chicago Street Pizza is the place. I know it's not in Chicago, but this is definitely Chicago pizza. It's a small place. The guy said he was from Europe. German, I think he said. There is a another place here called Sicily's Pizza and Pasta. Supposedly, it's New York pizza, but it sucks now.

No it was not. Pizza has been around way before Italy was born. Indians have had naans with toppings way before pizza....in fact italy stole the idea from Naan. Similarly across the middle east, there have been predecessors to pizza. Italians just copied it and gave it a new name.
