  • Satan is my friend...

  • Catchiest song ever. This version sounds more like Bad Manners than Sonseed.

  • Argh!! This has made my week!!!!!!!

  • where the fuck is the mosh pit?

  • I love how the guy in the back is wearing a fucking danzig shirt

  • What a stupid song! Catchy, though. I watch the old video and then this song gets stuck in my head for days! Old Sal is lookin' kind of rough in this one.

  • He's actually a really good musician. All of these guys appear to be.

  • LOL, I hadn´t realized the bass player was actually the original singer!! Well, that proves that whatever you upload onto the Internet can haunt you many years after it was actually created...great version.

  • Woooow. That was cool. Made my day! Sal is awesome! :D

  • im just here for the bass and ska!

  • Stop screaming bitch!!!

  • Looks like hell to me.

  • I like how the guitarist has a Danzig shirt. Hahaha!

  • SAL IS THE MAN!

  • This bass solo is just epic ;D

  • @Ayranek144 It's actually a guitar solo!

  • @ParryTsang07 Shut the fuck up stupid spamtroll!

  • Sal Polichetti!!!

  • That guy beside him looks like Rick Moranis

  • i just got zapped so hard.

  • I like the Funk Guitar Solo

  • LMAO, a 21st C of the goofiest video on YouTube,.. and it's pretty darn good. Nice one Sal, what a comeback !

BTW, much better job on the backing singers this time :-)

  • somebody's yelling "I like titties!" xD

  • You still got it Sal!

  • best thing i have seen on the internet all day.

  • I KNEW IT!

    Sal is a Secret Satanist!

  • Uhm, I am not sure Jesus is a friend of yours anymore :)

  • Dear Sal - as a lifelong atheist Londoner who saw The Specials, The Beat and all the rest of the 2-tone bands back in 80/81, I salute you and Sonseed. I would have paid to see you lot live - it would have been a moonstomping, Crombie/Harrington-wearing, 2tone bounce of win.

  • There's gotta be some rule against playing Christian ska with a Danzig shirt on.

  • There's gotta be some rule against playing Christian ska with a Danzig shirt on.

  • Sheer calamity. This is brilliant.

  • One very much gets the impression that Sal here has long moved on from his youthful born-again phase.

  • @custardaghost

Yea, you could say that. But that WAS almost 30 years ago.

  • @custardaghost thank GOD (pun?)

  • @jdunmer1018

    Indeed. And Amen to that.

Srsly - Sal (a mensch if ever there was one) makes it abundantly clear in his interviews that he has a "ahem" less-than-reverent approach to his born-again motivation behind these compositions..He says "aww, I was young and all..." And there is a distinct lack of Jesus-wheezing in his later doings. I think he's better off without the Church of the Poison Mind but thats just me ;)

  • wow! i wish i could be there :) what a jam!! :D

  • lookup the donk remix lol

  • FUCK! i would pay to see this song live!

  • Me too. They should play at a comedy club.

  • Where's your sense of irony, bro?

  • Man, praise music is so fucking embarrassing.

  • Oh this is awesome. He still looks and sounds great....and clearly still rocks the ska...I think it is time for a re-release!!!

  • Holy shit, those chicks are hot! And I used to think Satan got all the girls...

  • No, its Jesus man, he`s fucking the shit out of those girls, Mesiah style

  • @Ricky3zz he gets the kinky ones ;)

  • Fucking awesome

    Hell yeah

  • AWESOME! Thanks for posting this! Keep on rocking, Sal!

  • Scheez. Speed it up a bit guys. You're draggin'.

  • i like that song xP..... so cool and is pretty good to know about the singer of that sonseed's group je je.... :) glad to hear him again

  • Ha ha ha on all you poor bastards that aren't Italian!

  • AND he's playing a red Fender Jag Bass? This guy really is my hero.

  • I had just bought that Jag 2 weeks before. I was going to use my Precision but it was too heavy to schlep into the city. Besides, you're right; the red Jag looks kinda cool.

  • Definitely, that is one striking bass! Speaking of striking basses, and at the risk of sounding like I don't understand that it was 20+ years ago, whatever happened to that cool Steinberger (at least that's what it looks like) that you rocked in the original TV appearance?

  • Sorry, that was not a Steinberger but a Kramer knock off (who could afford a Steinberger back then?). It did not, however, have the Steinberger machines. Steinberger strings had balls on both ends and the machines pulled the strings into tune rather than wraping them around a post. The Kramer had regular wrap around machines.Because I play so close to the bridge I was pulling it out of tune every 5 minutes. I played my Precision on the recording and dumped that Kramer soon after the TV taping.

  • When I read about this performance on Wikipedia, I thought for sure there was no video of the event... This just made my week. haha TSC rocks.

  • Brilliance!

  • Who ever said friends of Jesus don't have a sense of humor? This is great! I loved the original video too.

  • Brilliant! Too bad the audio is off, but the build-up was great! Extra kudos for the "Punch and Judaism" from the original video!

  • What a gas! This was the most fun I've had in ages! Much thanks to TSC and all the other bands on the bill for their kind words and support.

  • sal you look like you're having more fun playin this song now than you did 30 years ago! im so happy for you

  • Thanks for noticing! Yes, I had an absolute blast!
