NBA officials have gone and fallen right out their tree, that is an offensive foul. I do not care if the defender is in the air, he is moving to the side of the offensive players path. The offensive player had to initiate contact by leaning into the defenders path. It is time for a rule change. I have seen this crap over and over where the defender jumps straight in the air (not in this video), and the offensive player dives into the defender to get the call. Not smart, BUSH league.

It's always going to be part of the game. It's near impossible for the refs to notice what's a flop vs. a foul sometimes. So as long as its part of the game, players who want to win badly enough will utilize the technique (or skill, if you will) of drawing a foul to their advantage. EVERY player has done it to some extent. It's players like Ginobili who OVERdo it, and that's when it really starts to piss me off.

The ref already knows he is going to give the defender a foul for jumping into the offensive player but, when the offensive player unneccesarily jumps into him(which is why stackhouse got mad) he is usually called for the foul.
