There's no point in arguing. The SyTy's are going to destroy 0-40mph. Outta the hole, they are untouchable on the street thanks to the AWD. On a strip with good tires, some of it's advantage goes away. The "what if" scenario is just bench racing. Turbos work equally well (possibly better) on V8s. A TT V8 will fit in a Cyclone. You can go as fast as you want... provided your pockets are deep enough.

This video doesnt mean all of them are this fast. The buick GNX ran high 13's and it ruled the US back then when the fastest car was fox body stangs running low 15's, and the syclone was about same engine as GNX but had AWD and lighter vehicle, I've seen them run low-13's. To the 1/8th mile like a subaru WRX they have 5 cars on my 01 WS6, but at the 1/4 I have 5 cars and run 12.4 to their low 13. The AWD makes up for HP. BADASS cars though. They need mods to run 12's. Syclones and Typhoons have evil launches due to their awd system that sends 65% of the power to the rear axle. Out of the hole, an SY or TY will destroy a Ram SRT-10 or Lighning Ford.

The Syclone is faster through the quarter mile but the computer limits the truck's top speed, the lightning's computer is set with a higher top speed. So it has the record for 'fastest production truck' because it can reach the highest speed. But in a race, a stock syclone will beat a stock lightning. Always check the details of the records lol.
