@amansjyoutubization You're absolutely right. However, the beginning of the MK9 trailer takes place at the end of Armageddon, where only Shao Kahn and Raiden are left standing. If Shao Kahn died at the beginning of Deadly Alliance, and Raiden became Dark Raiden at the beginning of Deception, how is the trailer even make sense? I'm still gonna buy the game and love it though....

@lookatthejuice In deception: Onaga finds a way out of the Netherrealm, bringing with him every other Mortal Kombatant who was in the past games. This is why Shao Khan was alive in Armageddon.

The story so far for MK is that future Raiden sends a message back in time to Mortal Kombat 1 Raiden in order to change the events of Mortal Kombat. So the raiden you see in the trailer is the raiden of MK1.

Shang Tsung kicks all kinds of ass! He ruled in the games, AND the movie (he was shitty in the cartoon, though). He's pretty awesome in the new games, but MK3 Shang Tsung is my favorite for the same reasons I've stated for Sub-Zero (t3h hawtness...♥♥♥ :3)
