I am only 29, but I grew up on this music every service and I sure miss it!! Every band and group I have played guitar for has been contemporary, but I am going to start looking for some of the older fellas to start playing with. Thanks for another great post! I love your style.
BOY, YOU sure did a great job on this one. I agree with the others. The Happy Goodmans was a big time Favorite Group of mine. I love the song that HOWARD does, "I Don't Regret A Mile I Have Traveled For The Lord." That has really become one of my Favorites. God Bless You. I will be looking for more from You in the days to come.
Hello Allen! Don't know how I missed this one. Great job as always! I was personally acquainted with Vestal. She had a heart as big as the ocean and she truly loved ALL people. I know she is smiling down as you play and sing this. Like the comment below, I would love to have heard Vestal and Johnny Cook team up on this with YOU playing. WOW!!!!! God bless you! Mike
Great song! You should look for Johnny Cook and Vestal Goodman singing this one -- perhaps it's out on youtube. I would have loved to hear the three of you doing this one with you playing it. It's really a difficult song to sing, because of the progressively higher rounds. You did really well (even without Vestal!).

Do you do Vestal and Howard's "Wouldn't take nothin' for my journey now"? One of my faves!
