Just rented this. Not enough cars, not enough tracks, not enough customisation. It feels small but most importantly - its fun. Cars handle well, there are plenty of events and I like the slick presentation of the menu. Overall, forget that it has Mr. McRae's name attached and enjoy it for a fun arcade racer not a rally sim. I also like the fact that I can put a skull on my dashboard.

A lot of people complain about Dirt and Dirt 2 getting away from rally roots but ALL of the other classes and events are parts of other very awesome and talent deep disciplines and should really be appreciated by any off-road enthusiast.

I wrote some long stupid comment about all the disciplines but ran out of characters. oh well.

Ken seems like a nice guy, but man, to a long time WRC fan who is used to incredible driving, his gymkhana videos are fun, but not very impressive. :p I saw the latest one and thought 'any WRC driver could have this course mastered in a matter of minutes.' I dunno... I imagine Gigi Galli doing it and adding a ton more style along the way.

You should really but Downforce for the PS2 if you didn't already. It's an amazing racing game and is just SO FUN. i would tather play downforce than some of my PS3 games. it is such a classic F1 racer and i feel the same fun playing that as playing a PS3 game. i Really recommend you getting it
