Actually, MrCeleb, this news theme song was used from 1982-1993 on ATV's Live At 5 and Evening News at 6PM. It was retired after 11 years of use after the new ATV/CTV Atlantic NewsCentre was opened in Feb. 1993. :)

The News Image/Plus was used by KRON-TV San Francisco NewsCenter 4 from 1980-1987 as well as KGTV San Diego and was originated for KSTP Minneapolis.

It was also used on ATV (now CTV Maritimes) during the 1980s until the early 1990s as the theme music for their newscasts.

This was also used as their news closes that featured the KRON Golden Gate Bridge legal ID by Pacific Data Images through late 1986/early 1987,
